Breaking down the edit on this shot of .folly ‘s epic 720S 🤩 With this shot I felt like the yellows of the things in the background were distracting from the car, so I decided to completely remove the saturation in the ‘colour mixer’ tool. You can see that in the settings on slide 3. Hope it all helps!

The final post from the epic track day at The Bend that I was invited to by and featuring a few of my favourite cars. ‘s GT3 RS MR, ‘s GT2 RS Clubsport and the GT3 Cup from and just to highlight a few 🤩 I have even more content from this day that I could post and cars that I could share, but it’s time to close the chapter on it. What a day it was and I’m still so extremely grateful for the opportunity to attend. One of the highlights of my whole year, that’s for sure!

Breaking down the edit on this shot of .folly ‘s epic 720S 🤩 Such a privilege to shoot this thing and the location/weather really came together for this one as well 😊 I’ve also been playing around with masking a little bit so here’s a couple of new techniques. One linear gradient mask acts as “the light side” and another opposing linear gradient acts as “the dark side”. Thought it looked pretty cool 🤓😬

Everyone is different, and how cool is that? 🤩 The world would be a lot more boring if we all did the same things and liked the same things 😅 @lincolnmorrey and I watched the joggers go passed us on a rainy morning with @rs_spy and at the time I couldn’t think of anything worse than doing what they were doing. It was freezing cold, raining and muddy, but they still got together and went for a run 😊 And when they saw us they probably had a quick thought about how crazy WE were for being out there at sunrise in a freezing cold and rainy morning taking photos of a car 😅 Safe to say though, we were all having a fabulous time and enjoying our very short existence on this tiny blue planet that we call Earth 🌎🫶 Need help with editing? If you’re just starting out with car photography, developing a mental list of some basic angles can be a really big help. My basic mental list is: 1. Front 3/4 2. Front 3. High front 4. Side profile 5. Rear 3/4 6. Rear 7. High rear (like the angle that you see when you play racing games 🎮) Every time I do a shoot I work through my mental list and it allows me to warm up and start to get the creativity flowing. Then once I’m all warmed up and I have my basics covered, I can start pushing myself to find more unique angles 😊 Then I start to go in for some detail shots and also start to try and use my surroundings to add foreground elements and more interest into my shots 👍 hope that helps 🫶 Need help with editing? Definitely one of the most unique shots I have ever captured so far on my photography journey, super happy with how it came out!
