the only way to get through this little lull in sales, is to do the “unsexy” part of business...

aka ask your audience questions and look into your data

here’s how we’re going to do it...

#1: we’re going to identify exactly what your goals are.

#2: we need to get real about the bad habit that’s getting in the way of reaching that goal.

#3: we’ll identify how we’re going to replace that bad habit with a good one that’s actually going get us there.

here’s a quick example of what I mean.

👎 i’ve been wanting to eat more protein to reach my health goals. i know i need to eat at specific times to ensure i’m getting adequate amounts.

đŸ«ł i have a habit of scrolling social media in the morning, so i end up losing track of time, get behind on my schedule & breakfast doesn’t get made until 1pm.

👍 instead of scrolling, i decide to leave the phone in the bedroom, journal for 15 minutes on the couch with my morning matcha & make breakfast immediately after i’m done so i don’t lose track of time.

not only did i identify exactly what was holding me back, but i have an actionable plan to move forward 💡

same thing goes for your content!!

if you want to post on tiktok daily but you don’t change any of your habits
we all know that ain’t happening.

so let’s break it down...

đŸ’« the goal is to post DAILY on tiktok by creating the next day’s post after you’re done with client work for the day...

đŸ’€ but you’re exhausted at the end of the work day so you end up just making dinner & hitting the couch

đŸŒč instead of adding a task at the end of the day when you know you’re too tired, you’re going to create content FIRST THING before you start the work day.

aka allowing yourself to show up when the energy is there instead of expecting yourself to push through every day when you have ZERO left.

so we have to figure out a way to speak to your audience in a way that will click every. single. time.

i know that probably sounds like some sort of witchcraft, but I promise it’s true. but we’re not trying to make it sound like it’s super easy


it takes rounds of research & refinement to get there, but that’s the beauty of having the right strategy in your arsenal. here’s how...

💌 start with that market research. ask your audience the questions you need answers to!

💣 speak that language back to them in your content.

your content is only as good as your ability to communicate your message.

i feel like no matter where i look, all i see is the same kind of content.

đŸ„€ the girl in a nice studio on her white, boucle couch with her laptop telling you the algorithm changes you NEED to pay attention to


đŸ„€ the guy in a dark room with the podcast microphone, nice dslr camera and engaging captions popping up on screen


it all looks the same


and the only reason i can attribute to why this content performs so well is because it’s nice to look at.

we consume so much of other people’s thoughts and opinions we’ve forgotten to take time to have our own.

when was the last time you sat in a room alone and talked to yourself out loud about a topic that interested you just to see what came up? what you thought of? without any outside influence?

because the social media landscape is changing right now, and things that used to perform well for you are most likely not anymore.

because it doesn’t resonate with them on a personal level.

if you can’t connect and meet them where they’re at, how can you expect them to buy from you?

your generic content is getting lost in the sea of sameness of your competitors and that’s why your ideal clients are scrolling right past what you have to say.

instead, you need to start thinking about what makes your favorite content so captivating to consume.

chances are, it’s the storytelling woven throughout that really resonates for you.

and putting your ideal client at the center of the story is KEY đŸ—ïž

you need to speak to your dream clients directly by showing that you understand how pain points are manifesting in their every day life.

(NOT through generic “struggles” that feel completely disconnected)

start by aiming to understand what those pain points are and what’s holding them back. the classic “put yourself in their shoes exercise”.

then how that problem manifests in their routines
try to envision a “day in the life” of your ideal client.

how is the problem showing up for them and impacting their confidence, stress levels, career aspirations, relationships, etc.

then speak to their desire to transform their situation by finding a solution to the problem. address it like a friend would on a level that impacts them directly.

REAL tangible solutions speak to REAL human problems.

if you’re consistently missing the mark with your audience and telling stories through your content sounds intimidating

But I see this on social media every. single. freaking. day.

..sorry, but yeah you kinda did my dude.

Let’s just cut to the chase. If you want to have a successful and sustainable business in 2024, content creation needs to be the main focus in your marketing strategy.

Which means the quicker you accept your content creator role in your biz and start working at it, the quicker you’re going to see results.

And look, there are always going to be elements of your business that you don’t understand how to do. Or feel so much harder than they need to be... none of us are born marketing experts!

you should be making your audience feel hopeful that they can make these shifts happen for themselves if they have the right information.

it’s all about gently highlighting the gaps in their current strategy or way of thinking, and showing them a better or easier solution.

when you make these shifts, you’re audience feels STOKED to invest in you, because you didn’t make them feel stupid or scared

this means that your perception of reality is not always reality itself.

i like to relate this to social media marketing and here’s what i mean


everyone thinks of strategies as maps or plans
 but that’s not what a strategy is.

it’s actually the territory. it’s the reality of your business; the analytics, the data, the facts.

our strategies should be rooted in what we know to be true.

now our content is the map
 it guides our audience to where we want them to go.

but maps can sometimes be wrong if not based on the territory exactly.

similarly, if our content is not based on the facts of our business we cannot lead our audience to where we want them to go.

that’s why we don’t assume what will work for your business based on what has worked for other businesses. we look at the data and what we know to be true for YOUR territory.

then we create our strategy from there and adjust as needed.

and this is how we got one of our management clients HUNDREDS of subscribers to their platform and thousands of followers from ONE video.

because we know how to assess the data, and re-write the map.

because this almost always leads to burn out if you’re not seeing results from it.

your time is better spent understanding what type of content your audience is already engaging with and creating that.

đŸ„€tips and tricks are dead. the type of content that creates sales is the content that gets your audience thinking in a new way.

don’t assume what they want to learn
 know what their issues are and present them the solution in a way that is identifiable to them.

đŸ„€your social media strategy needs to be based off what is getting you sales. if you don’t know what content that is, we need to take it back to the drawing board and re-evaluate.

your strategy is not the map that guides your audience, it’s the territory. it’s the reality of your business. your content is the map. maps can sometimes be wrong if they’re not an exact match for the territory



you see where I’m going with this???

your content, if not based on the foundations and reality of your business, will not guide your audience to where you want them to go.
