Here are your first three steps for showing up more wholeheartedly in your marketing in 2025... ✨

When I work with clients or coach business owners on their marketing, I can tell instantly when they walk me through their workflow if they’re a passive participant or an active go-getter.

And one thing the go-getters all have in common?

✅ They see consistent results ✅

I want all of you reading this to level tf up in 2025, not only because your business deserves it... but because it DEPENDS on it.

Here are your first three steps...

📆 Audit your freakin’ life.
Write down all the things you do on a daily basis and group the similar or like tasks. These are your work buckets. Now delegate a time/day every single week for those buckets. Don’t deviate.

🎙️Talk to your audience.
I know it’s been years since you’ve done actual market research. Ask your audience what they’re struggling with right now, what they want and how they want to solve it. Speak their language right back to them in your content.

📈Assess your data.
Look back at the content that’s done really well in the past. In terms of visibility, engagement and conversions. Why did it do well in that category? Is it the topic? The format? Identify the patterns and create more of that content.

think about it like the flu...

the flu is the problem… but the sneezing, fever, chills, and stuffy nose are the symptoms. without describing the symptoms to me, i may not know that i have the flu.

i know i have a problem but i may not know what that problem is, or it may not connect as quickly.

this is just like your audience and you need to connect with them QUICKLY if you want to grow.

they don’t always know their problem. they know how they’re experiencing their problem.

and it’s your job to connect the symptom to the problem and then that problem to the solution you offer.

this is how you get followers to turn into people who are obsessed with you and then turn into BUYERS.

launching can be a b*tch

but only if you don’t have a strategy.

so let’s fix that!

just posting content that says “here is my new offer…here’s what’s included…buy it” isn’t going to get people to actually buy.

and just because you post every day, consistently and have a ton of people viewing your content, again… doesn’t mean they will actually BUY!

it’s like putting on a play without rehearsing…

no matter how many people are in the audience, if you have terrible actors, you don’t know your lines, and no set design or music… the audience is probably going to leave.

quality content is always going to do you better for a launch than quantity, so let’s get intentional.

🌶️ SPICY AF TAKE 🔥

but as a social media manager myself, i think the most valuable thing you can invest in is learning to do your marketing ON YOUR OWN.

you will get better results.
and you will save money.

this is what the social audit club allows you to do.

why is it so damn hard to hire someone???

you want the people on your team to be like your second brain…

you want them to be able to do what you do, BUT BETTER…

and that’s SO hard to find.

at CLC we are artists, creatives and strategists.

they will write some fluffy caption that they have no idea how will actually translate to sales.

understanding where the bottleneck is in your marketing & sales process will solve that problem.

i worked with a business owner who had a goal of selling 5 spots in her accelerator program in the month of july…

she’s made plenty of sales before but didn’t know exactly what she needed to do to ensure those sales.

so what we did was analyzed her past content, looked at her sales data, the messaging her ideal clients were using to describe their problems and gave her an action plan.

and she got to work creating that content… and within the FIRST WEEK of july, she sold out all her spots and hit her goal.

this is how fast things can happen when you have the RIGHT information and a fully functioning marketing and sales process.

i audit business owner’s content all day every day

and one thing they all have in common is that most of the time, they’re posting what THEY want to post and not what they’re ideal client wants to see.

and then they wonder why no one wants to buy from them.

the only way to get through this little lull in sales, is to do the “unsexy” part of business...

to actually customize your strategy to your audience
and clarify what IS working

aka ask your audience questions and look into your data

♥️ which is why those are step 1 and 5 in our custom framework ♥️

if you feel like you’ve “tried everything” there’s a really good chance you actually haven’t

and you’re either your messaging is off, you’re not selling the way you should be, or your not being consistent.

and it’s most likely a combo of all three.

SOCIAL MEDIA IS CHANGING🚨

almost everyone i know has
- low views
- s**tty engagement
- potential clients who are taking FOREVER to close
- god-awful reach

it’s not just you... social media is changing

and it’s because we’re all freaking TIRED

tired of the same content coming across our feed

*cue the girl on a bouclee chair with a laptop*

what we’ve seen people are really interested in right now:
- real, genuine connection
- a good story
- actual help, not clickbait-y hooks
- f**k the fluff and trying to get people’s attention
- showing & telling (don’t just tell me about your product, show me how you use it)

🫶🏼 essentially just authentic freakin content.

don’t be scared to give your audience more.

i see too many of y’all sabotaging your content and I want to save your time & sanity.

here’s how we’re going to do it...

#1: we’re going to identify exactly what your goals are.

#2: we need to get real about the bad habit that’s getting in the way of reaching that goal.

#3: we’ll identify how we’re going to replace that bad habit with a good one that’s actually going get us there.

here’s a quick example of what I mean.

👎 i’ve been wanting to eat more protein to reach my health goals. i know i need to eat at specific times to ensure i’m getting adequate amounts.

🫳 i have a habit of scrolling social media in the morning, so i end up losing track of time, get behind on my schedule & breakfast doesn’t get made until 1pm.

👍 instead of scrolling, i decide to leave the phone in the bedroom, journal for 15 minutes on the couch with my morning matcha & make breakfast immediately after i’m done so i don’t lose track of time.

not only did i identify exactly what was holding me back, but i have an actionable plan to move forward 💡

same thing goes for your content!!

if you want to post on tiktok daily but you don’t change any of your habits…we all know that ain’t happening.

so let’s break it down...

💫 the goal is to post DAILY on tiktok by creating the next day’s post after you’re done with client work for the day...

💤 but you’re exhausted at the end of the work day so you end up just making dinner & hitting the couch

🌹 instead of adding a task at the end of the day when you know you’re too tired, you’re going to create content FIRST THING before you start the work day.

aka allowing yourself to show up when the energy is there instead of expecting yourself to push through every day when you have ZERO left.

see what I’m sayin?

sometimes reframing your approach & attitude when it comes to content can be the game changer you’ve been endlessly searching for.

if your content feels stiff and sterile instead of open and relatable, first of all... i FEEL YOU, i’ve struggled with this in the past as well but it’s most likely a huge turn off for your audience.

so we have to figure out a way to speak to your audience in a way that will click every. single. time.

i know that probably sounds like some sort of witchcraft, but I promise it’s true. but we’re not trying to make it sound like it’s super easy…

it takes rounds of research & refinement to get there, but that’s the beauty of having the right strategy in your arsenal. here’s how...

💌 start with that market research. ask your audience the questions you need answers to!
💫 understand what their day looks like as someone without your product/service in their life
💣 speak that language back to them in your content.

your content is only as good as your ability to communicate your message.

so if we want our content to perform better, it’s time we all get better at COMMUNICATION.

content doesn’t feel genuine anymore…

i feel like no matter where i look, all i see is the same kind of content.

🥀 the girl in a nice studio on her white, boucle couch with her laptop telling you the algorithm changes you NEED to pay attention to…

🥀 the guy in a dark room with the podcast microphone, nice dslr camera and engaging captions popping up on screen…

it all looks the same…

and the only reason i can attribute to why this content performs so well is because it’s nice to look at.

we consume so much of other people’s thoughts and opinions we’ve forgotten to take time to have our own.

when was the last time you sat in a room alone and talked to yourself out loud about a topic that interested you just to see what came up? what you thought of? without any outside influence?

try it out and let me know how it goes.

because the social media landscape is changing right now, and things that used to perform well for you are most likely not anymore.

we have to be able to change with it, and to do that we have to have genuine thoughts and ideas.

let’s just cut to the chase…

your content repurposing ISN’T WORKING because your audience is a *teensy* bit bored by your copy & paste approach.

your messaging strategy is boring the f**k out of your potential clients…

because it doesn’t resonate with them on a personal level.

if you can’t connect and meet them where they’re at, how can you expect them to buy from you?

your generic content is getting lost in the sea of sameness of your competitors and that’s why your ideal clients are scrolling right past what you have to say.

instead, you need to start thinking about what makes your favorite content so captivating to consume.

chances are, it’s the storytelling woven throughout that really resonates for you.

and putting your ideal client at the center of the story is KEY 🗝️

you need to speak to your dream clients directly by showing that you understand how pain points are manifesting in their every day life.

(NOT through generic “struggles” that feel completely disconnected)

start by aiming to understand what those pain points are and what’s holding them back. the classic “put yourself in their shoes exercise”.

then how that problem manifests in their routines…try to envision a “day in the life” of your ideal client.

how is the problem showing up for them and impacting their confidence, stress levels, career aspirations, relationships, etc.

then speak to their desire to transform their situation by finding a solution to the problem. address it like a friend would on a level that impacts them directly.

REAL tangible solutions speak to REAL human problems.

if you’re consistently missing the mark with your audience and telling stories through your content sounds intimidating…

Petition to stop complaining about how hard social media marketing is and start finding solutions that work?

GIRL I KNOW...and my deepest sympathies are with you in these trying times...

But I see this on social media every. single. freaking. day.

“I didn’t sign up to be a content creator”

Ummmm…..sorry, but yeah you kinda did my dude.

Let’s just cut to the chase. If you want to have a successful and sustainable business in 2024, content creation needs to be the main focus in your marketing strategy.

Which means the quicker you accept your content creator role in your biz and start working at it, the quicker you’re going to see results.

And look, there are always going to be elements of your business that you don’t understand how to do. Or feel so much harder than they need to be... none of us are born marketing experts!

The most important thing you can do is recognize where in your content creation process you’re falling short. Auditing your process & your content to understand what is working and what isn’t is the end all be all of a good marketing strategy.

But that fact still remains...

If you can’t clean your house….you hire a housekeeper.
If you can’t market your business…you hire a marketing agency.

It’s really just that simple babe 💋
