Hey there Rad(io) Shorts fans, its that time again for The Rad(io) Shorts Writers contest! A contest that gives up-and-coming writers a chance to hear their work produced in an audio medium! As well as the option of working alongside us here at Rad(io) Shorts to bring your script to life!

The rules are simple!
1.) Write a 3-5 page script
2.) Submit your script to [email protected] with subject line "Writers Contest"
3.) Let us know in your submission whether you would like to work alongside us at Rad(io) Shorts to Direct your script and bring it to life or whether you would rather sit back relax and be surprised by the final product! Either way you will still be credited in the intro and outro of the Podcast, as well as on our official IMDB page!

and that's about it! Submission deadline is August 30th 2022, and winners will be notified within the following week. If you have any additional questions reach out and DM us, or send us an email at [email protected] and we will be sure to get back to you as soon as possible.

Hey there folks! This week's episode features our first ever guest writer and the winner of the Rad(io) Shorts writers contest, Sarah O'Connor!

Sarah O’Connor is a writer and playwright from Hamilton, Ontario. She has had articles published in The Hamilton Spectator and The Sartorial Geek, short stories in Incite Magazine and The Hamilton Youth Anthology: Volume 1, and her plays have been performed in the HamilTEN Festival, Mind Play Theatre Festival, and Emerson Arts Fright Night: A Night of Horror. She is also currently a member of the Hamilton-based Feminista playwriting unit. Most recently her short story “A Candle for Lucy” was an honourable mention for the gritLit Literary Festival’s 2021 Flash Fiction contest. In 2015 she co-created Stuck in a Story Productions with her sister and their three web series can be watched on Youtube. Hey there folks, interested in providing a voice for the Rad(io) Shorts Podcast? Well here is your chance. Rad(io) Shorts is currently casting for season 2 and we are looking for unique voices.

We are currently looking for 1 female voice and 1 non-gender specific voice for an upcoming episode. If you are interested in auditioning please PM us here at the Rad(io) Shorts page and we will get back to you as quickly as possible with a set of sides for you to read from.

(We ask that all folks auditioning have access to recording equipment and able to use Discord)
