সাঁওতাল বাংলাদেশের অন্যতম বৃহৎ আদিবাসী জনগোষ্ঠী। এই প্রাকৃতিক সংস্কৃতির লোকগণ প্রাকৃতিক রীতিনীতি, ধর্ম, শিক্ষা, আর্থ-সামাজিক ক্রিয়াকলাপ এবং নৃত্য-সঙ্গীত সহ বিশেষ ধার্মিক এবং সাংস্কৃতিক অধিকারে বিচরণ করে। সাঁওতাল জাতির নৃত্য তাদের সাংস্কৃতিক সমৃদ্ধির অবিচ্ছেদ্য অংশ। তারা প্রাচীন নৃত্য গতি, সুদূরপূর্ব অসম্ভাব্য অঙ্গপ্রদর্শন এবং উন্নত সঙ্গীতের মাধ্যমে নৃত্য দিয়ে তাদের সংস্কৃতির গল্প চিত্রিত করে। সাঁওতাল নৃত্যে প্রতিটি পাদক্ষেপ তাদের ঐতিহ্য এবং সাহসের গল্প উপস্থাপন করে। প্রাকৃতিক পরিবেশের সাথে তাদের সম্পর্ক অত্যন্ত দৃঢ় এবং অদ্বিতীয়। সাঁওতাল জাতি পরিস্থিতির সাথে সামঞ্জস্য এবং সহযোগিতা প্রদর্শন করে, যা তাদের সাংস্কৃতিক পরিবেশের মধ্যে একটি সাক্ষাত্কারপূর্ণ বৈশিষ্ট্য তৈরি করে। সাঁওতাল জাতির নৃত্য, পরিধি এবং সামগ্রী নির্মাণের মাধ্য
