It's time to channel your inner Beyonce and slay your marketing game.💎

Don't just settle for mediocre marketing strategies - drop them like Beyonce drops albums and leave your audience speechless. Be bold, be confident, and make a big impact that will leave a lasting impression.

Don't be afraid to take risks, think outside the box, and stand out from the competition.

Remember, in the words of Queen Bey herself, "A diva is a female version of a hustler." Let's hustle and slay our marketing game like the fierce divas we are.

Around the time of launching Orenda Tribe, Yeung, who is Diné, also relocated from Los Angeles to New Mexico, near the Navajo reservation. She felt drawn to the territory after reconnecting with her birth mother, who is from there (Yeung was adopted as a child). When she arrived, Yeung immediately felt a need to explore her Indigenous heritage; now, she infuses that spirit into every facet of her brand, both via sustainable practices and ongoing collaborations with fellow Indigenous artisans in her community.

Jenn Harper, founder of Cheekbone Beauty, was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario and relocated to the Niagara Region where she was raised and developed a passion for cosmetics. For Jenn, make-up has become a means of expression that she feels has amazing power. There needed to be a brand that was made in Canada, that was never tested on animals, free of parabens and that gave back to the First Nations community
During the development of Cheekbone Beauty, Jenn researched the industry as well as charities that are helping close the educational funding gap that exists between Indigenous and non-Indigenous students. Jenn found the First Nations Child & Family Caring Society (FNCFCS) and Cheekbone Beauty continues to support the FNCFCS today. During Cheekbone’s infancy, Jenn also suffered a heavy personal loss with the su***de of her brother B.J. This loss, though difficult, has remained a driving force behind Jenn’s desire to see Cheekbone Beauty succeed with its mission.

Eiko Hashiba left Goldman Sachs Group Inc. in Tokyo in 2002 to give birth to a child at 23. Having to quit to look after her baby left her wondering why there weren’t more flexible ways for women to keep working in Japan, instead of leaving the workforce after having children.
Ten years later, that question was still on her mind when she co-founded VisasQ Inc., which provides expert advice and consulting services not unlike those of McKinsey & Co. The difference? Its advisers don’t work in-house: they’re outside consultants.
Hashiba is among a select group of female CEOs of Japanese companies. Only 11 out of 2,076 listed firms that disclosed the information, or less than 1%, had a woman as CEO last fiscal year, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.

Funlayo Alabi co-founded Shea Radiance, a natural beauty brand dedicated to transforming hair, skin, thinking … and lives into something more beautiful than what it was before. She believes in the power of economic access and what can happen when women reach out to lift other women, regardless of their differences.

Her business was born out of the need to find a natural solution for her young children’s eczema-prone skin. That need sent her on a quest to her homeland of West Africa, where she rediscovered the healing properties of Shea butter.
Funlayo is a global business leader who speaks domestically and internationally on matters of international business, market and economic access for African women, Africa’s agricultural sector and Shea butter.
