With all of the UGC projects I have been doing in the hair niche, I was beginning to worry that I was seriously frying my hair.

I found Elevate Rice Water and I’ve been using it for the last month.

Honestly, it really hydrated my hair. I feel like it’s extremely smooth after every use, and if you’re somebody who is worried about damage to their hair, hair thinning, or if you’re looking to nourish your hair and scalp - this product is a must have

Key to great skin at 35? - its not what you think.

If I am 1000% honest - it’s mostly genetics. My mom looks like my sister at 58.

But top 3 products for skincare I use religiously: SPF ( any brand. I lather spf 50 ( at least ) all over my face anytime I go outside - this is why my body is 4 shades darker than my face ). serum/ moisturizer and Vitamin C serum ( this one is dr. Nolan and I got it on Amazon ).

Ugc photography must haves:

1. Good lighting ( for this pic I used my 12 inches ring light and a clip on light )

2. Quality equipment ( Iphone 12 or higher // DSLR .. this was taken with an Iphone13 pro )

3. Solid editing software ( my fav is Adobe Lightroom ) and

4. Remote control shutter release button ( or you can always activate voice control on your phone in settings > accessibility > voice control > customize commands > custom > create new command )

Quick story on how I got into ugc:

In August 2021, I was pregnant with my second son and I wanted to buy some UGC videos for my company . .app targeted me on Instagram with one of their ads and I signed up for the platform as a brand.

I think I ended up getting like six or seven videos from them, and after I received them, I was really curious on how the process worked on the Creator side of the app.

I created a second account on Billo aa Creator.

After I gave birth to my son, I need a baby products, so I began applying for UGC tasks which required you to have a very small child. Think breast pumps, swaddles, baby products, feeding products, etc. I started to get accepted by all of these brands to do baby related and maternity related products. I loved it because I was getting the stuff that I actually needed.

After I went back to work, I cut down on my UGC production significantly, but I kept getting small jobs here and there which required very little effort. This past summer my husband suggested I get off of Billo and join another freelancing platform like , because at this time I already had over 158 videos in my portfolio. I had nothing to loose, so I did.

I dumped all my videos into a playlist, opened the account, signed up for , and created my first gig on fiverr.

And then nothing happened for about two months.

Turns out my gig was actually in the wrong category.

Fiverr moved my gig to the correct category manually, and once they did, my inbox started to get flooded with requests for videos. It got to the point where I had to already raise my prices three times to keep up with demand.

I became a level two seller in six short months. Now I am on my way to become a Top Fiverr Seller by the end of the summer, while still receiving anywhere from 5 to 15 inbound every single day from different clients. It’s amazing what’s six months can do because now I’m leaving my “9-5” to focus on my jewelry business and ugc full time!

Life is crazy!!

Hi. I’m Anna. He’s some things you probably didn’t know about me:

1. I’m 35 even though could definitely pass for a 20 year old without make up.

2. English is NOT my first language.

3. I ran cross country and track in college. My “main” event was the mile but I also did 400, 400 hurdles, 800, high jump, triple jump and was in every relay possible.

4. 3/4 of my family still lives in Russia and I probably won’t see them any time soon.

5. I’m an avid hiker, outdoors enthusiast, and snowboarder.

6. I’m 5’11. Used to professionally model as a teen.

7. I learned how to ride a bike in my mid twenties.

8. My goal for “life” ? Get a van, or an RV. Travel the country with my family whenever I want. Be able to pick up and live abroad for months at a time.

9. I’m a sh*tty cook.

10. My boys were both preemies and we did some serious NICU time.

11. I hate “reply-all”ers.

12. And people who drive the goddam speed limit in the left lane.

13. My passion is “making things”. Making jewelry, fixing a piece of furniture, making collages/ posters/ whatever. Anything that has to deal with creating SOMETHING from NOTHING.

Other than than, I’m pretty awesome :) oh, and I make SICK UGC. Let’s work together!

It’s almost that time again…To chop it all off ✂️

Every couple of years I grow my hair out to around my butt. And then I chop it ALL off and donate somewhere between 11-16 inches to .for.kids

Honestly, just makes me feel good to positively contribute to children going through adversity. I’ve donated 3 times already and coming up on my 4th time. Just makes me feel good and after all - hair grows back.

So even though I won’t be chopping it off JUST yet, my question is - how short should I go?

Here your answer - I was on the covers of the original books 5-12 or however many there were.

I was 16 years old when we shot the covers in NY and actually met the author without realizing how much of a “big deal” these books were going to be.

Often times brands ask me to post things on my socials. 99.9% of the time I do this anyways - however, not for the purpose of "selling" but rather for a purpose of providing education and examples of my work. ​​​​​​​​

But many people still confuse influencing with UGC. ​​​​​​​​
Personally, I prefer UGC 1000% over influencing, and here is why:​​​​​​​​
1. Cost. If you are a brand, the cost to hire an is much higher than hiring a UGC creator.​​​​​​​​
2. Authenticity. Not saying that influencers have fake followers, but some do. So the whole "authenticity factor" gets lost when the content is posted by an influencer vs a UGC creator.​​​​​​​​
3. Lack of control. Once the influencer has created the content it may be difficult for the brand to control how exactly the content is used. ​​​​​​​​
4. Brand Values. Finding an influencer who aligns with the brand's values may be time consuming. ​​​​​​​​
5. ROI: Measuring the ROI of an influencer marketing campaign can be challenging, as it can be difficult to track the impact of a campaign and attribute sales to a particular influencer.​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
This is not to say that UGC creators are better. Both have positives and of course draw backs...​​​​​​​​

I am obsessed with stripes. If I had to take everything out of my closet and throw it in a pile on the floor ( which often happens anyways), 80% of my closet would have some type of stripes. BUT... stripes, patterns, cute flowers and all that good stuff looks like garbage on camera. ​​​​​​​​

A quick word about negative hooks:​​​​​​​​
I have had GREAT SUCCESS with hooking the audience using negative hooks. ​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
What are negative hooks?​​​​​​​​
Negative hooks are attention-grabbing techniques that focus on the "negative" aspects of a product or service, or the negative consequences of not using it. Negative hooks can be a powerful way to engage with an audience, as they often create a sense of urgency or fear, encouraging the viewer to take action.​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
Using negative hooks definitely does have the tendency to stop people in their tracks and forces them to continue watching the video.​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
WHY? ​​​​​​​​
Because it is:​​​​​​​​
1. Different​​​​​​​​
2. "More engaging" ​​​​​​​​
3. Interesting and​​​​​​​​
4. People genuinely want to hear other's opinions of products to get that "insight information" ​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
Which is why I personally love using negative hooks when I'm making paid media ads.​​​​​​​​

What is the difference between product photography and a UGC photo? ​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
Product photography refers to professional and high-quality images of a product taken for the purpose of promoting it for sale. Product images are usually shot in a controlled environment, with proper lighting and styling, to highlight the product's features and benefits. In this case - even though the photo was taken BY ME, the photo demonstrates a "result" of using this particular skincare item = clear skin. My Canon T3i was mounted on a tripod, hooked up to a remote control, shot against a neutral background and had 3 sets of lights blaring: ring light and 2 soft box lights which were strategically placed around my face.​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
On the other hand, UGC photos are images that are created and shared by the "users", rather than by the brand or business. These photos can include images of customers using a product, product reviews, and photos of customers with the product. UGC photos are considered more authentic and can be a powerful marketing tool for businesses, as they provide social proof and help build trust with potential customers.​​​​​​​​

Being a brand owner of I have had the pleasure of having vast experience of taking BOTH types of photos: UGC and Product. My favorite? Definitely UGC! Not that product photos aren't beautiful, but from a creative standpoint, I love that a customer gets to see "the real" deal rather than just a staged photo. ​​​​​​​​

Here a fun facts about Amazon videos: If you are selling on Amazon and need a video keep in mind that Amazon won't allow videos which are longer than 45 second and exceed 30fpm. ​​​​​​​​

Your content creator should not be mentioning competitors, calls to action or personal opinion. Otherwise the video may not be approved for your listing. ​​​​​​​​

I get this question asked all the time. To product content in the most relatable way I shoot with my iPhone. ​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
In regards to background and backdrops available - this all depends on your product. I tend to use my living room, dining room, bathrooms and kitchen the most. The upstairs bedrooms are also utilized, but not as often due to lack natural light in the rooms. ​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
For UGC photography, all photos are shot with my iPhone, 13 Max Pro; however, if you would like to include product photography in your bundle - a Canon t3i is available. ​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
All photos are submitted in 2 formats: RAW images and lightly edited in photoshop. Content is submitted to the brand via WeTransfer and/or Google Drive Folder. ​​​​​​​​
