Consider this.
Jesus is the lamb
Satan is the serpent
Sin is the venom
The Blood is the antivenom

lamb's blood, is often used to make antivenom. This is because sheep have strong immune systems and produce antibodies that can bind to snake venom components, allowing the body's immune defenses to eliminate the toxins.

To make antivenom, donor sheep are immunized with snake venom and then the venom antibodies are collected from their blood

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:

IN A HURRY TO BECOME A SCHOLAR
I've seen it happen many times in the life of new believers and those who are "seasoned" as well.

Oftentimes in a rush to learn more about the scriptures people begin to take short cuts in their studies. This happens a lot more than would like to be admitted in University theological study with a hurried curriculum as the main focus being a passing grade.

This same desire to be an efficient "scripture quoter" can also be found in the life of new believers as they rush ahead in the efforts to obtain some great understanding of the Word of God but leave behind the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

The Bible was written by inspiration of the Holy Spirit and must be read in the same manner.

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:"
2 Timothy 3:16 KJV

Sometimes the urgency to jump ahead of the HOLY SPIRIT can leave a gap in the actual transition from the "milk" of scripture to "meat" of understanding. Its this Gap we will discuss here.

THE GAP
As alluded to above the problem is not the spirit lead believer it's the "desire" for a educated mind lead by the personal desires of a High-minded individual that can create this Gap. The Bible is clear on the dangers of being lead by the flesh instead of by the spirit.

"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

For men shall be lovers of their own selves,

covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."
2 Timothy 3:1‭-‬5 KJV

When we began seeking knowledge of the scriptures for our own selfish reasons and not for the purpose of a Godly life to bring Glory and Honor to the Father we begin down a dangerous road filled with self laid traps and confusion creating within ourselves a High-minded and False doctrine that brings about a form of godliness but denying the power thereof, this is what I refer to as the gap effect.

Many start out with a spirit guided life that includes the Study of God's Word, then fall into the trap laid by satan, the very same trap that was laid for Adam and Eve...
Knowing what God has said but denying his power by wanting to jump the Gap and obtain knowledge without his guidance.

HOW TO BRIDGE THE GAP
If you have fallen into the "Gap effect" there is only one way to correct it's tragic effects upon your life and that would be going back to the very beginning and study the word of God only through the inspiration and guidance of the Holy Spirit allowing the knowledge and understanding to be imparted unto you by Him without jumping ahead for your own personal reasons.

This may sound like an extreme measure to under take however the seriousness of the Word of God and the Power it has in the life of a believer warrants such a measure.

As you interact with others you will also find there are many "Christians" and yes even Pastors, television Evangelist and self proclaimed prophets who have been affected by the "Gap Effect" it's this reason you must always know the true word of God for yourself.

HEART CONDITION

The condition of your heart is of Great importance, so much so that there are numerous Scriptures that deal with the heart of man.

"A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken."
Proverbs 15:13 KJV

"Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water."
Hebrews 10:22 KJV

A MAN AFTER GOD'S HEART

The Bible calls King David a man after God's own heart.

"And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will."
Acts 13:22 KJV

Yet David committed many atrocities and acts of sinfulness, many times his actions where in direct disobedience unto God bringing reproach and punishment upon himself and the children of Israel of whom he was the leader, so how can it be that the Bible refers to David as a man after God's own heart is this a contradiction, absolutely not in fact it shows how much value God places in the condition of our hearts, the fact being that if through correction and admonishment God can bring us back to a clean heart and a heart that is seeking him completely, He can establish a personal relationship with each one of us that will ensure we are walking in the will of our Father and can accomplish that which he has purposed for our lives.

David himself came to realize this in a very personal way, each time he strayed from the will of God, not only did the condition of his day to day life change, he also discovered his very heart within him had changed creating a condition of sorrow.

"A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken."
Proverbs 15:13 KJV

What made David a man after God's own Heart was not perfection but a heart of repentance, each and every time David walked away from the will of God he eventually ran back to God with a heart seeking God's perfect will for his life, willing to put aside any and everything that was hindering is heart from fully seeking God's purpose for him.

"Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me."

Just as King David we today must have a heart of repentance if we too desire a real personal relationship with our Heavenly Father and fulfill the purpose he has for our Life.

So important is the condition of our hearts Jesus himself spoke of it often, teaching us that our hearts should be ever seeking the Kingdom of God

"For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."
Matthew 6:21 KJV

YOU CAN'T HIDE YOUR HEART FROM GOD

"And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts? For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house."

UNFOCUSED FAITH:

During this time of hardships and troubles we all could use someone to talk with and to just be close to us and bring comfort and peace of mind, someone to listen and understand what we are personally going through in life.
it seems that even family and close friends oftentimes get so involved with her own lives that we can find ourselves lonely and afraid even in a group of people we know.
Be Encouraged because
There is a friend who will never leave you nor forsake you.
Many people will tell you that you are not good enough or that your past is to awful to associate with or to even be around.
There are family and friends that would judge you based upon their outward knowledge of who they think you are.
it may be true you have lived a checkered past committing many terrible atrocities or just simply not living up to the self righteous standards of those around you,
If you have given your heart to God if you are saved if you are now a new creature in Christ and the old things have passed away,
if you are a child of God those same people who judge you now against what the old man has done have no idea of the greatness that God has prepared for you.
You are more than a past you are more than a judgment in the mind of someone else you are
something different something new something amazing
yes you are redeemed
yes you are made whole and yes you are forgiven and now you are a friend of Jesus Christ.
The savior of the world is your friend
he died for you
he arose for you he's coming back to receive you again
until then he is a friend like no other
he will never leave you he will never forsake you

SOMETIMES IT'S THE SMALL ATTACKS THAT CAUSE THE MOST DAMAGE.
(A short message from The Founder of Todays Real Truth, Pastor Allen Johnson)

We all know that the attacks of satan can cause major issues in our life, even those who are "prayed up" can fall under the attack of the enemy. In many cases we can readily see and understand where and who the attacks are coming from, satan.

When faced with the "big full on attacks" such as Sickness, disease, financial issues, relationship problems and so on, we can jump into action and deal with these through prayer and scripture with the help of Jesus.

However there is another attack that many times is overlooked because it comes in the smallest form but has a Major impact on our life.

These smallest of attacks come from a misspoken word from a friend, or an eye roll from church leader, or maybe something as simple as someone not acknowledging the "hard work" you do.
These small attacks can create a seed of doubt in your relationships and grow animosity the size of a tree causing even the closest of relationships to become stained and distanced even ending a strong friendship that has lasted years.
These small attacks have oftentimes been the reasons for family members, brothers and sisters, Mom's and dads to completely stop talking and seeing one another.

When we build our relationship with each other on the foundation of God's love toward us as individuals the eye rolls and misspoken words or even the intentional harm caused by our friends or family can be dealt with for what it really is...an attack that can be defended against by the sword of the spirit, the word of God.

WHAT IS THE WILL OF GOD

Matthew 6:21-22 KJV
( Notice in this verse who will enter into the kingdom of Heaven).

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

(In this next verse Jesus is talking about false teachers, Pastors, Religious leaders and those who purposely mislead and twist the word of God. Take notice that these deceivers can also do "wonderful works" in the name of Jesus but their works didn't save them).

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

In verse 23 we discover what is to be done with these false teachers, pastors, prophets and the like.

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

It's important here to also recognize what Jesus just said that most overlook and never give thought. Jesus said "I Never Knew You". He did not say, I knew you once but now I don't, or I knew you when you were saved before, but now I don't. He said "I Never Knew You"

So now let's see what the Will of the Father is because as Jesus just said unless you do the Will of the Father you will not enter into the kingdom of Heaven.

The Will of God has nothing to do with Him requiring you to do some great work or deed pertaining to salvation.

Jesus explains the Will of The Father

John 6: 37-40 KJV
37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

( The raising up in the last day is a lesson for another time)

47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

So what's the Will of God for you....To believe in Jesus Christ and be saved.
You do Good works and bear Good fruit because you are saved. Your Salvation is because you believe in Jesus Birth, Death, Resurrection from the dead which is the Will of The Father.
This is How You know Jesus and He will know you. Believe me brothers and sisters you Never want to hear Jesus say
"I NEVER knew you".

I've seen it happen many times people who are tired, broken and desperately seeking to start over, wanting to change their life and leave behind things of their past.

Abusive relationships, addiction to drugs or alcohol even stuck in a dead end job with no appreciation or financial security.

Depression, suicidal thoughts and actions, feelings of unworthiness and loneliness.

When enough is enough and they can't go on any longer living the life that they have knowing in their heart it's time for a change, there has to be something more something better.

With every intentions to make things better and completely change their current situation they eagerly begin to build a new life.

For a few days or even weeks it appears they are accomplishing what they have set out to do, then out of no where fear and temptation come back in a big way and they falter and revert back to the a state of life that is even worse than before.

For many the reason for this setback is due to the fact they are attempting to build a new life by using the same old tools from the past.

In order to create change and obtain a different outcome for our life we have to do things differently.
In other words you can't expect a different a outcome by doing the same old things.

Most people will try changing things by the strength of thier own willpower or seek advice from their old friends. Truth is when we ask for help from those who are actually apart of the problem we will never get a favorable solution and the life that's trying to be changed will always be captured and bound by the past.

What's the answer?
Simply put the answer is Jesus and a personal relationship with Him.
When a person gives their life to Him all things are created new, the old things have passed away.

Jesus gives you new tools to build your life, not tools for you to use alone, but tools to use along side of the Carpenter from Nazareth the one who is the master builder of lives, the author and finisher of our faith.
The burden bearer, the one who creates all things new, the One who is the way the truth and the life, When he builds your life it will never be the same, the old tools are gone and your New Life will begin and be successful because God has built your house...

Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it...

LET US FAINT NOT
Remember the Love and Compassion of Jesus Christ when others do you wrong.

All to often the ones who are offended by the Scriptures and take offense are the same ones who have in times past been close to God.

At some point they have become complacent in their relationship with the Lord and disobedient in the fear of God.

Many times they sought out their own fleshly lustful desires in place of God's Perfect will for their life.

Instead of the Word of God bringing Joy, peace and Comfort to their hearts, it instead brings about a conviction of the sinful life they are living.

As they reject the conditioning of the Holy Spirit that is attempting to draw them back into obedience and relationship with their Heavenly Father, those infected with the desires of the world begin to lash out against the very work of God and his people who perform the service of which they are called.

Given the knowledge of this and recognizing the real issue is not the words or actions against the Pastor or Preacher or Deacon or Sunday School Teacher or any other Godly called service, the real heartbreaking issue in this circumstance would be they are really lashing out at God Himself.

We must continue to suffer for the kingdom of God if we are to bring the lost into the Shepherd's gate, in other words we must be willing to except the attacks and still remain strong in our Faith and personal relationship with God, causing our Actions in these time to bring Glory to God and there by those that are lost as well.

Today I Ran into a man who knew me before I was a Christian, He started reminding me of all the bad things I had done in my past.
The more he reminded me the worst I began to feel ashamed and then I started to believe Him when he said I certainly wasn't good enough to serve God and that I was nothing but a hypocrite.
How could such a bad man be living for God let alone Preaching and Teaching the Gospel of Jesus.........

Then I remembered what the Bible says about me...
I Am Forgiven, The old man is Dead, God loves me and I am wonderfully and fearfully made. God is my Father I am His child.

So I did what any man of God would do, I turn to this accuser of my past looked him straight in eyes and with the authority of God's Word without hesitation......

I told myself to shut up.
