Working on book nine, Tsunami of Turmoil (I keep massaging the title. I think this is it.) Today, the Bianca Cordova chapters.
If you've read book eight, you know her already. She is that person we all know in our lives that is just plain lucky. One day, that luck runs out, and it costs her the platoon she was in command of.
In book eight, she is sent back to ASHUR school--the Army hopes she can be salvaged. In book nine, she seeks atonement for her actions.
Not all characters have an arc. Some, like Adam Cain, have a consistency over an evolving arc. Bianca has an arc though, which means that in each book, she evolves as a character. It also means I have to write her differently during this evolution.
I like her character and what I am putting her through. We also see some other new characters emerge as a result of this.

Book Eight of Land&Sea, Tsunami of Terror, is in the hands of the editor. I'm almost at the halfway point on book nine. On top of that, I got the trashcan release of the graphic novel for review yesterday. It's great to be a part of a growing franchise!

An update for fans on the second season trilogy. Our audiobook narrator is having some challenges in getting the first book, Cyclones of Chaos, done. It is looking like sometime in October.
So, rather than wait for the audiobook to be ready, we are going to launch with Kindle, paperback, and hardcover this month. The audiobook will have to catch up with us.
When I get an exact date, I'll let you know. Until then, look sharp...the war is about to escalate in ways that will surprise and shock you.
