1st Uvalde County Commissioner’s Court meeting for 2026 happening now. With the new Briscoe Animal Resource Center’s (BARC) Shelter getting ready to open next month, Commissioners were criticized during Citizens comments for not doing any advance planning on the agreement between BARC and the county on the specifics of the agreement and how it will work.
Diana Olvedo Karau stated the County had had a year and a half to work on this.
