A long overdue, shoutout post to RAW ENERGY RECORDS

The original home to Trunk, Marilyn’s Vitamins, Jersey, Tirekickers, Random Killing, Cutoff, Five Knuckle Chuckle, Sector Seven, and the list goes on!

Thank you to Graeme Boyce for his blessing and allowing Past Lives to bring many of the releases from the Raw Energy roster back to life in the digital world!

THE DAY HAD DIED (1998).

Going way back to the 1900’s, you might remember The Day Had Died, who were formerly known as Two Shades Of Pain.

Before the inception of , fronted Burlington, Ontario’s THE DAY HAD DIED, featuring Kevin Young and Michael Higgins on guitars, Joseph Mamone on bass, and Peter Boyle on drums.

The band blended intense blasts of hardcore, cleverly mixed with quiet, emotional breakdowns and occasional melodic blasts topped with catchy singalongs.
