Everyday Intimacy Discover intimacy. Intimacy is about creating and cultivating connection. Hence the name of our company, Everyday Intimacy. Join us.

It’s one of the longest-lasting acts in which humans engage and we could all use more of it - everyday. Intimacy exists in many forms - from simple, tender moments to avant-garde, grandiose escapades. Through our Grown-up Bedtime Stories and Discover Intimacy series, we explore them all - and everything in between. Grown-up Bedtime Stories is a fictional, fantasy series of written and audio storie

s designed to indulge your carnal imagination, titillate your senses and inspire your bedtime activity. We develop multi-faceted, diverse, consenting and empowered characters and tell their stories full of heart and heat. Discover Intimacy is a written series designed to awaken your sexual intellect through intimacy-related topics you don't often encounter. We cover intimacy through the lens of history, art, culture and science. Our work is based on research from books, scientific journals and other reliable sources.

Doing the work isn’t easy. We’re proud of ourselves and we’re proud of you too.

“Rather than being shunned as ‘bastards’ or ‘sons of bitches,’ children of multiple fathers benefit from having more than one man who takes a special interest in them. Anthropologists have calculated that their chances of surviving childhood are often significantly better than those of children in the same societies with just one recognized father.”

We explored Christopher Ryan and Cacilda Jethá's book - S*x at Dawn: How We Mate, Why We Stray, and What It Means for Modern Relationships - in our Discover Intimacy series.

But, there is one big exception. Bonobos are not monogamous and do not engage in long-term pairing. They have s*x with various members of the group, multiple times per day.

This is where Ryan and Jethá (authors of S*x at Dawn) argue that humans strayed from our natural way of being – not bonobos. Like our bonobo kin and our ancient ancestors, according to the authors, we too are naturally inclined to multi-pairing and monogamy, with all its societal trimmings, is not in fact natural for human beings.

What are your thoughts on the authors' hypothesis - regarding the nature of monogamy in humans? Did you know about the similarities to bonobos?

We're sharing what we learned from S*x at Dawn in our Discover Intimacy series. Follow us to learn more and explore.

Do you agree with Bob Marley about having multiple partners, or do you need someone that is solely yours?

Bob Marley’s legacy continues to live on in his music, as well as the children he had prior to his untimely passing. He had 11 children from several relationships, which is explainable given the thinking he expresses in this clip.

As we look at love, and the icons that sang and spoke about it, we also think about it in the context of the love that we want. Follow us for more discussions on love and relationships.

As we celebrate and what many often consider the official marker of the end of the summer, we look back on the hottest days, steamiest nights, and ask, if you will take love into the next season?

And for those who loved and lost this summer, do you agree with Socrates — did that hot love you had turn cold?

And as you work through those feelings, follow us for discussions on relationships and self growth - for this season and all seasons.

Like water, like air, like food...

We believe s*x is a form of connection that humans need to experience.

S*x is broad and comes in many, many forms, but regardless of the form we choose, it's something we all need.

When was the last time you slow danced with someone? Not middle school sock hop dance either. Bodies close. No space. Faces touching. A deep kiss within tongue's reach.

Tell us below. Give us a year and city. Save the name if you and your dance partner have since blocked each other. 😉
