What then can we boast about?

Colossians 1:15
"Christ is the visible image of the invisible God..."

God created the world and everything in it. Whether be it seen or unseen. Everything was created through Jesus and for Him.

There was a RECONCILIATION. (v20)
God reconciled everything (even us) to Himself by means of Christ's blood on the cross.

We can never measure up to what Christ Jesus has done. God was already pleased with Jesus, with what He has done. We are just co-heirs to the Kingdom because we were once enemies of God and were far away from God. We were separated from God through our evil thoughts, desires, actions but we were reconciled to God through Jesus' blood on the cross.
With that, we are now holy, blameless, and we can now stand before Him without a single fault.
We have contributed nothing to the grace we have received.

Everything we do now is just the outcome/manifestation of what has already been overcome by Jesus.
Let us continue to be faithful, pure, and always seeking God.

"WILDERNESS IS JUST A SEASON"

"And He humbled you and let you hunger and fed you with manna, which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man does not live by bread alone, but by every word which proceeds from the mouth of God." (Deuteronomy 8:3)

In the natural sense, Wilderness is an uncultivated, uninhabited, inhospitable place. It is a neglected/ abandoned area, where there is no life and there seems to be no hope for the future.

The natural and the spiritual are very much alike, they are inclined to each other.

Spiritual/ Natural Wilderness is necessary for each and everyone's life. If God won't allow us to go through spiritual/ natural wilderness, we won't be able to fully experience the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Genesis 12:1-3 says,
“Now the Lord said to Abram, ‘Go from your country and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you. And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

The promise of God to our forefathers.
Him being Jehovah Jireh as He was to our Fathers
(Spiritual and biological) from generation to generation. How God delivered them, He will also deliver us.

Remember the time when the Israelites journeyed from the land of captivity (Egypt) into the promised land, they had to pass through the wilderness which was only intended for such a time (11 Days). However, because of unbelief, stubbornness and so on of the Israelites, their wilderness journey was lengthened up to 40 years.

(Reference from Bing: "According to the Bible, the Israelites were supposed to journey in the wilderness for 11 days from Mount Sinai to Kadesh-Barnea, the border of Canaan. However, because of their disobedience and lack of faith, they wandered for 40 years before entering the promised land. You can read more about their journey in Exodus 15:22-18:273.")

NO ONE IS SUPPOSED TO STAY IN THE WILDERNESS. We are all supposed to cross over.
Everyone knows that. Unfortunately, some of us may think that we have already crossed over but in reality, we are still stuck in the same loophole of error.

It takes more than our natural eyes to see what is really wrong here.

Wilderness CAN BE
: A state of mind (Mindset: Can be in the right place but not the right mindset)
: A situation/ literal place (Financial/Poverty)
: Misalignment of the heart/Spirit

Sadly enough, even when we have already arrived in the land of more than enough, we can still be battling with our rational mind that although it is already evident that the place you are in is already the land flowing with milk and honey, yet you still don't realize/ experience it.

This is common and very critical to most of us.
I also experienced it.
A friend of mine confirmed this when I asked about his opinion on such topic. He said, "If the state of being in the wilderness is imprinted in the mind and heart of a person, without the awareness of the person, instead of it just passing by, it may last more than it should. Which can lead to reasoning."

WILDERNESS if not overcome can lead to REASONING.
And most of the time, a person's reasoning benefits only himself.

I remember communicating to God, asking Him about what is the my purpose in this season because I felt ineffective, then I heard a voice telling me, "I did not leave you unequipped."

I also remember then a Pastor praying for me saying, "Be ready for surprises, because there are many expectations that will not be met the way you want it but it shall surely come to pass."

Hence, God proves time and again that His thoughts, His ways, and His plans had always been and will always be higher than ours. And that He operates according to His will (Which is in His word) and not according to how we want Him to. All because He is God and not man.

As it is said in Ecclesiastes 6:10 NLT
"Everything has already been decided. It was known long ago what each person would be. So there's no use arguing with God about your destiny.

SEASONS Change -
According to Ecclesiastes 3:1, "To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:..."
And Ecclesiastes 3:11, "He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end."

Seasons change but God's word never changes and it won't be compromised to our own liking/ advantage. Have you noticed? Not everyone prays for rain at the same time, given the differences in time and in geographical location. You might be praying now for rain but in some parts of the world, they are praying for the sun to shine or for the snow to stop falling, or for the storm to cease.

As Acts 10:34 says,
Opening his mouth, Peter said:
“I most certainly understand now that God is not one to show partiality,.."
That's why Paul said that we must follow him as he follows Christ because this supports his statement in 1 Cor. 9:22 which is becoming "All thing to all men" in order that the gospel may be preached to all and not only to some handpicked by men.

All because God does not show partiality but He works everything out for the good of all. He makes the sun to shine and the rain fall on both good and evil.

Actually, the place isn't always the problem, sometimes it can be the heart. The issues of the heart and the positioning of the heart is the problem. Because you can be in the wilderness but have the right attitude and change the atmosphere and make the wilderness as if it's already the promised land, but you can also be in the promised land but if your heart is not rightly positioned, then it will seem like wilderness not only to you but also the people around you.

What we have to remember and always keep in mind and in our hearts is that there is a PROMISE at the end of the wilderness journey. And the reason for the wilderness is for us to understand fully who God is and be made whole, become pure as gold, and become the beautiful pot which the Potter intended us to be before entering into the promise.

It's between you and God for His people.
Remember, the reason why God encounters you is because He wants you do to something. For you to make use of what He has given you.

PROMISE or PRESENCE? 🧐

And Moses said to Him, “If Your presence does not go [with me], do not lead us up from here."
(Exodus 33:15)

As I was meditating, this thought came to mind.
"What are we really after? The Promise of God or the Promise Keeper Himself?"
Are you really able to decipher between the two all the time?
I believe that there is a very thin line between distinguishing which among the two is the abundance of our hearts. Every day we wake up and pray and ask the Lord for His guidance, we pray to God that He would answer our prayers, and we pray to God that He would change our situation because isn't that what God is supposed to do? To perform what He has said in His word and for His promise to be manifested/fulfilled in our lives. Isn't it?

However, what weighs more?
As Matthew 6:21 says, "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

Have you ever thought that maybe the very reason why we get so frustrated is really not because of what is happening around us? That maybe, the situation we are in is just an addition to the main factor as to why we are frustrated and the main thing is that it's never about what is happening around us but about what is happening within. What kind of inward riot are we allowing to manifest outwardly?
Remember the time when Jesus was sleeping on the boat in the midst of the storm? (Matthew 8:24)
HE WAS SLEEPING amidst the storm.
There was inexplainable PEACE within. And that peace was manifested as He spoke PEACE to the raging seas.

Remember when Stephen was being stoned to death but because he saw the glory of God, he was so focused on looking at God's glory that every stone that was thrown against him just didn't matter at all. (Acts 7:54-60)

Imagine being so indulged and in awe of God's glory, God's presence that anything in this world just doesn't bother you anymore. Then again, there was inexplainable PEACE within.

So, let me ask you again. What are you really after?
Are you after what comes next (The Promise) or the One who promised?
After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.” (Genesis 15:1 NKJV)

He is not just the Promise Keeper. He Himself is the promise.

Sa sobrang kabusyhan di na natin napapansin na ang bilis lumipas ng araw, linggo, buwan, taon. Di mo pansin bukas makalawa, bagong taon nanaman.
“Kelan ka Gagraduate?”
“Kelan ka mag-aasawa?”
“Wala ka pa ring trabaho?”
“Ilang taon ka na ba?”

Narinig mo na rin ba yan? O kaya naman…

“Ilang taon na lumipas, hanggang ngayon di mo pa rin napapatawad.”

Ang sagot? “E sya naman ang may kasalanan. Ako ang nasaktan dito, sya ang dapat humingi ng tawad.”

O baka, “Matagal ko ng pinatawad” pero hanggang ngayon parang kahapon lang nangyari yung sakit, damang dama pa rin.

Sino nga ba naman kasi ang gustong masaktan?
Sino nga ba naman kasi ang gustong manakit?
Sino nga ba naman kasi ang ayaw patawarin?
Sino nga ba naman kasi ang ayaw magpatawad?

Hindi ako syempre.
Pero naranasan ko na ring masaktan, manakit, magpatawad, at patawarin.

Sinabi ko na ring napatawad ko na, pero alam ko sa sarili kong masakit pa rin.

Alam mo ba na ang hindi pagpapatawad ay isa sa mga dahilan kung bakit di natin fully maramdaman ang presensya ng Diyos? Ang hindi pagpapatawad ay isa sa mga dahilan kung bakit di natin makita kung ano ang nasa unahan.
Isa sya sa mga dahilan kung bakit nahahadlangan ang ating paglago.

One offense can eradicate all the good things unless the wound heals completely.
It’s true that healing takes time, so does restoration.
However, kailangan mo pa ring magdesisyon. Dahil unless you make a firm decision to forgive and move on, the healing will take more time than it should.
What will happen is you will just keep on patching it up thinking you’ve already healed but then you don’t realize that the wound is still fresh.
At ang sugat na matagal ng pinabayaan ay maaaring magdulot ng infection at maaaring kumalat pa nga. Ang masaklap, hindi lang sya mananatili sayo, kung di pati ibang tao madadamay na.
Masakit pero tama? RIGHT!

Hindi madali, pero kailangan.
Tara na mag heal!😁

Suggestion lamang:
Una, kailangan mo munang fully tanggapin sa sarili mo na nasaktan ka at nakasakit ka kahit gaano man kaliit o kalaki yang offense na yan.

Pangalawa, manalangin ka.
Ipanalangin mo na tulungan ka ng Diyos na magpatawad and in the same way, ask the Lord for forgiveness because God never intended you to get hurt, and God also never intended for that hurt to last for so long.

God speaks time and again. (Job 33:14)
And as you pray and seek the Lord, you listen. He speaks.
He may not speak right at the very moment you prayed but He will surely comfort your heart.

Pangatlo, RELEASE.
Tell the Lord about everything.
He is waiting and He has been waiting.
Release na bhe. There’s no more reason for you to keep on holding on to that past hurt. It’s now time to release in order to heal.

Pang apat.
Ask the Lord to guide and guard your heart.
God is close to the broken hearted, you want to heal? Lapit ka sa Diyos ng kagalingan.

Don’t live your life as if you are still stuck, as if you are still entangled, as if you are still imprisoned. You are not. You are FREE. And who the Son sets free is free indeed. Have the change of mind and have the change of attitude. God is also offering it for free😁
Ang kailangan mo lang gawin is to surrender.

Yung ikaw na napaka uhaw sa pagbabasa ng salita ng Diyos, yung ikaw na palaging nangunguna sa mga gawain, yung ikaw na napakalakas ng boses kapag kumakanta ng papuri sa Diyos kahit wala sa tono, yung ikaw na todo ang taas ng kamay at pag talon kapag kinakanta na ang praise song at todo din naman ang paghagulgol kapag oras na sa pag worship, paminsan lumuluhod ka pa habang nakataas ang kamay na para bagang paulit-ulit na sinusuko ang buhay na bigay sa Panginoon, yung ikaw na kahit anong mangyari naniniwala at nagtitiwala ka pa din kahit hindi mo nakikita. Asan na yung dating ikaw na nagaapoy sa pagpapahayag ng salita ng Diyos kahit sa gilid ng kalsada man o sa jeep mismo, kahit sa hindi kilala at kakakilala palang ay sobrang excited kana na ipahayag ang testimonya mo kung paano ka binago, inabot, at pinatawad ng Panginoon?

Asan ka na? Baka dahil sa mga tao kaya ka nawalan ng gana, baka dahil sa mga sitwasyon kaya ka nanghina, baka dahil napagod kana kaya sumuko kana...

Isa lang ang naaalala kong intinuro ng Pastora ko saakin na hanggang ngayon nakatanim sa puso ko. Sabi nya, "Ang mundo magbabago, ang tao magbabago, pero ang hindi dapat magbago ay yung confidence mo sa ipinagagawa sa'yo ni Lord."

Kapatid, minsan pa, katulad ni Pedro nung sya ay palubog habang naglalakad papunta kay Jesus sa tubig. Humingi sya ng tulong, inabot ni Jesus ang kanyang kamay at yung paningin ni Pedro na nakatuon sa dagat na napakalalim at malalaking hampas ng alon ay napaling sa kamay ni K
Jesus, inabot nya ito at sya nga ay naligtas.

Ano ang hinihintay mo? Si Jesus kahit kailan di ka Niya iniwan kahit para sa'yo nag-iisa ka nalang at wala ka ng magagawa andyan pa rin Siya. Hindi mo kaya, kaya tumingin ka sa Kanya. KAYA NIYA. Hindi sa sariling lakas o sa sariling gawa, kung di sa Kanyang biyaya at grasya.

Kapatid, maniwala ka pang muli na walang imposible sa Kanya, wag kang titigil maniwala at magtiwala, tapat Siya sa Kanyang mga pangako at ito ay matutupad sa panahong tinakda Niya.

What are you so worried about? 😟🤔

- Worrying may result to fear and that is not what God wants for us, instead, He wants us to be courageous and be firm with our faith in Him. While love has nothing to do with fear for perfect love drives out fear. (1 John 4:18)

Today, as we remember the Sabbath, let us make every effort to enter into God's rest. REST is a gift from God given only to His people, those who dwell in His rest are dwelling on His promises.
As it says in Hebrews 4:7b
"Today, if you hear my voice, do not harden your hearts."

Do not be so confident about your tomorrow, do not be so worked up about your tomorrow for what we have is only today that's why we should put our confidence only in Jesus---our Hope.

Lord, when we don't know what to do, we look up to You.
Teach us to worship You in the midst of the storm.
Teach us to hear Your voice when we are surrounded by sea of doubts and worries.
Teach us to look up to You when we are blinded by the mountain infront of us.
Teach us to still hold on to Your promises when we get tired of waiting.

Teach us to wait on You for You are true to Your promises.
You never failed us yet!

Sa araw na ito, sabay-sabay nating balikan yung pangako. Hindi yung pangako mo sa Kanya kung di yung pangako Niya sa’yo. Kasi si Lord lang ang tanging nangangako sa sigurado kang matutupad.♥️

He won’t change His mind about you.

Maraming beses sa buhay ng tao, ginagawa lang natin ang mga bagay bagay ayon sa kung ano sa tingin natin ay mas makakabuti. Pero naisip din ba natin kung ano naman ang pananaw ni Lord tungkol dito?
Sabi nga sa Proverbs 3:6
“Remember the Lord in everything that you do, and He will show you the right way.”

Kapatid, do not look for signs sa daan. Hindi confirmation ng tao ang kailangan natin, isang bagay lang yon but to actually hear it directly from God by reading His words will always be the best option. Sino pa nga ba ang dapat nating lapitan kung di ang Diyos na may likha saatin at kilala tayo.

Si Lord muna at ikaw bago ang ibang tao☺️
