If you've visited Buxton in the last couple of years, you may have popped into The Herb Garden Vegetarian Bistro for something to eat. Andrew is the owner there and is really enthusiastic about cooking delicious food simply for a plant based or vegetarian diet. He joins me on this episode just as his place re-opens for sit down service as the UK comes out of coronavirus restrictions.

Vegan or plant-based? Which term do you prefer and how can you transition to a healthier diet? Isn't it all a bit complicated? We dispel some of the myths and look beyond the hype and the polarising terminology in this episode. I'm joined by Andrew Pickup who has not only experienced better health si...

Really enjoyed recording an episode with Abbie from Plentiful Wholefoods last night. Abbie followed in the footsteps of Earth.Food.Love , and was amongst the first few refill shop owners in the UK back in 2018. We had a right good chat about all the stuff that goes on behind the scenes of shops like ours and I really think you'll enjoy this episode when it goes out.

Coming up next though, this weekend's episode is on plant based and vegetarian food with Andrew who owns the Herb Garden Vegetarian restaurant in Buxton. His philosophy is great tasting food made simply.
