This post is long, but comes with some encouragement and a dollar deal surprise!

Yesterday, I posted the birds on a wire illustration I drew for my mom. This drawing has actually become a huge reminder to me of God’s love for us. Let me explain how.

A few months ago, my mom mentioned that she has always loved the look of birds on a wire. I immediately wanted to draw it for her, but also wanted to use a picture that I took myself. I did not think this would happen anytime soon. One day, as I’m sitting in standstill traffic on my way to work (which was odd), I looked up and see the perfect picture of a few birds on a wire.

In that moment, I just thought about how this small task was something I cared about doing for my mom and God made it happen so quickly. He knew that this small thing was on my heart without me even having to ask. 🤍

With all that being said, I wanted to turn this meaningful illustration into something people can share with one another. Hopefully I am just in time for any last minute Halloween gifts!

✨most recent drawings ✨

These three drawings are all so different, but all so meaningful!

The first drawing is of my parents' new house. I wanted to try something new while also giving them something special to have in their house.

The second picture was also for my mom. She shared that she always loved pictures of birds on a wire. One day during traffic on the way to work, I looked up and saw the perfect picture to capture and draw for her.

The third was for as she so kindly posted yesterday! It was so fun to take the parts she wanted from a few pictures and put them together to create a new illustration she loved.

Faceless Custom Digital Portraits ✨

These portraits are available in our Etsy shop! These were the stepping stone that got us interested in opening up our Etsy shop, so it’s only fitting that these are the first products available.

After our post explaining about us, our name, and why we opened our shop, you might be wondering what custom portraits have to do with our passion of inclusion. We want to eventually have examples of portraits that make everyone feel included by having options for modifications and by seeing all people represented. This is a work in progress and something that we cannot achieve on our own. We need your help!

The examples we have now are similar in drawing style and use the original background, but these portraits are completely customizable. You provide any photo and can request any modifications you require. We can adjust the picture to use any color scheme you want or adjust the drawing style. You can choose no background, a simple background, or the background in the original photo. The possibilities are endless. 🖤

My name is Michaela! I'm married to my best friend, Blake, and we have one cat named Ruthie. I have been a special education teacher for the past five years. Creating accessible content has always been my goal as an educator and now I want to branch out and provide it to others as well.

My name is Jaclyn! I just recently got married. We have a dog named Auggie and two cats, Hank and Ellie. I have been an educational sign language interpreter for three years. Working as an interpreter has motivated me to want to create more inclusion in our world.

We both have a passion for inclusion, which brings us to our name. "In toto" means "as a whole." We want our designs to be accessible to everyone, as a whole.
