OFFICE OF THE PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER, NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIAN STUDENTS (NANS), JOINT CAMPUS COMMITTEE (EDO AXIS)
THE DEATH OF MISS. FAITH AIGBE
It was with pain and grief that my office in the early hours of today received the shocking and disheartening news of the demise of young and promising Miss. Faith Aigbe who before her death was a teacher at a community school in Uroho village of Ikpoba-Okha local government area.
Indeed the unfortunate demise of this very promising Nigeria youth is not just a loss to her immediate family but to Edo state and Nigeria at large. I hereby extend my heartfelt condolence to the members of her family and pray that God almighty will grant them the strength to bear the loss and also that her soul be at peace with our heavenly father. Amen
While I wholeheartedly commend members of the press and Men of the Nigeria Police Force in Edo state on their swift and timely efforts since the onset of this ugly incidence to unravel the true story behind the demise of Miss. Faith Aigbe, I want to admonish them not to relent on their efforts and to leave no stone unturned in their investigation till justice is attained and those involved in this dastardly act prosecuted regardless of their status and calibre.
NANS will be watching closely the investigation of the police into this tragic occurrence and we will not fail to react desirably to any attempt by the security agency to compromise or undermine the investigation process as justice must be served on this issue.
