Hello friends! I've got some new music for you! And it's free! Presenting to you a mixed bag of tracks that I hold very dear to my heart. When you have time, check out IDMf Netlabel's new release on Spotify. (Link in comments) For those that didn't know, I'm one of the OGs who helped start and build this label, an international online community music project, with a mutual desire to release high-quality, non-mainstream electronic music to the public for free under Creative Commons Licenses. That was 18 years ago, and to say it has evolved would be an understatement.

For your listening pleasure I present "[IDMf067] Retrospective Vol. 1", comprised of some of the best hits (not even close to all of them!) from the label over the last nearly two decades. Each track is from a different album in the earlier catalogue, and I am proud to say that I took part in most of their respective releases.

After a long hiatus from being involved in music, I have found myself pulled back in to working alongside IDMf under the leadership of two awesome dudes who share the vision I had when I was putting my blood (ok maybe not blood), sweat, and tears into it. After nearly 70 albums this is our first time on Spotify! They're taking every effort I made to the next level!

Any support you can give is greatly appreciated, even if you add the album to your library or send it to someone you think might like it, cheers to you! Support underground music!

The IDMf Netlabel contains a rich history of releases dating back to 2009’s IDMf001: In Depth Melodics. Throughout the upcoming year, our aim is to honor our history with a collection of retrospective releases, and to ensure our music resonates within ‘the algorithm’. Although streaming services have previously posed challenges for us, often being relegated to the ‘too hard basket’, we have persisted in our efforts to deliver this remarkable music through your preferred daily platform.
