💪 George Bridgman Arm Study 01. Second study of George Bridgman’s drawings, in this study I wanted to learn and extract how Bridgman stylized and exaggerated the bones and muscles of the arm and hand.
I think most artist who study him appreciate his “Structured-Solid-Angular” style. It’s the same for me. I’m going to take what I have learned and incorporate it in future work 👊🔥

Arm anatomy practice, I could have used more shadow in the arm but decided to go for a simple realistic shadow shapes. I think it gives me the knowledge to what is realistic, to then take that knowledge and bend it to a more stylized form.
Learn and understand the fundamentals, so you can bend it to a style you want, like l an element bender from the Avatar ✋😎
