Our days are numbered Spuds! Only 6 episodes of Claudia and The Loaf left, for Mutiny Radio turns into a pumpkin at the stroke of midnight NYE.

Of first and only time we did a show spotlighting just one artist we did an all DEVO set. "The beginning was the end" as they say, so we are gonna do an evening of DEVO once again. This time focusing on the set from last Tuesday's performance, and the songs we wish they had played.

We are also gonna have members of the band Clickbait Thumbnail in the studio doing an acoustic interpretation of some DEVO music..

Last week we celebrated our 100th Episode of Claudia and The Loaf, so in keeping in the spirit of Nostalgia Season we are celebrating another anniversary this week.
10 years ago Thursday, I helped put together a show at Mutiny Radio featuring Laurie Amat performing with Zachary L Morris and Joe Hashazume from Doomfield. They did an extended set of 100% improvisational sonic magic and mayhem. I did LIVE painting during the jam and created some of my best work from that era.

Tonight we are playing 5 selections recorded that day..and Zack will be calling in to tell of the war stories and challenges of that fateful Saturday afternoon.

Joey & Marky Ramone, Times Square, 1989.

A few times in their career the Ramones stepped off the beaten track and explored unknown territories, bonding with artists outside the Punk and Rock‘n‘Roll genre.

One day in the spring of 1989, the band was asked to have a cameo in a video shoot for Grammy Awards winner Bobby Brown. The song: „On Our Own“, the title track of „Ghostbusters II“. Of course they agreed.

So one day in May 1989, Joey and Marky went to 42nd St. to act as street performers: Joey was handed a tuba and Marky‘s job was to collect the money.

If you look close enough, you can also spot Ramones tour manager Monte A. Melnick close to the action.

Also starring in Brown‘s video are Christopher Reeves, Iman, Jane Curtin and Donald Trump.🍊
