An excellent take by Samuel K on this Government's hypocrisy and gaslighting when it comes to calling out racism.

The level of pure bu****it Health Secretary Matt Hancock spouted on The Andrew Marr Show was off the charts even by his ridiculous standards.

Trying to explain why India wasn't put on the red list of countries much earlier to stop the new variant spreading he offered numerous answers that made no sense.

He then tried to spin the news that with no enforceable measures in place hundreds of people who are supposed to quarantine on a daily basis aren't doing so as something we should be celebrating.

The middle ground of British politics is a myth, it means calibrating yourself from where the ruling Conservative Party are and insinuates they are something you aspire to be.

Phenomenal from Labour MP Clive Lewis on why the Labour Party should never be a centrist party on Novara Media's Tysky Sour.

Congratulations to the 39 Sub-Postmasters and Sub-Postmistresses who today were proven innocent after being wrongly convicted of theft and fraud for the last 15 years because of a faulty IT system.

We hope they are successful in getting the compensation they deserve. Though this can never repair the damage done to their lives, with some not living to see the verdict overturned.

Deliveroo worth 8 billion pounds, who Chancellor Rishi Sunak hailed as a British tech suceess story, is paying many of its workers below the minimum wage. ITV News has discovered.

One demoralised worker isn't even surprised and has accepted it's the reality of the gig economy.

Worker's rights and fair pay are issues that Jeremy Corbyn's Labour Party would have highlighted and taken up the fight for. However in his absence, it is now left to footballer Marcus Rashford to try and get decent pay and treatment for workers.

What has happened to the Labour Party under Keir Starmer? And what has become of "Great" Britain?

It is a year today since the UK entered its first lockdown. In an emotional interview a lady who lost her father to Covid last year tells Panorama that the Government should be held accountable for the death of her father and thousands of others.

The show reveals that the UK has one of the worst death tolls per million people of any nation, even worse than America who have handled the pandemic terribly.

The cast of Gogglebox were furious with Health Secretary Matt Hancock's pathetic response when asked, why the NHS staff who saved Boris Johnson's life will only be rewarded with a measly 1% pay rise?

One wondered if the claim of £350 million extra for the NHS after Brexit was actually a misprint and instead meant £3.50.

However their mood was brightened by Piers Morgan storming off Good Morning Britain after getting destroyed by weatherman Alex Beresford following his tirades aimed at Meghan Markle.

Andrew Marr reminds Gavin Williamson that Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak were happy to clap NHS workers when it brought them positive publicity but now it is time to support them with a pay rise they are only offering a derisory 1%.

The offer which is a pay cut in real terms has caused widespread anger up and down the country. And Marr asks Williamson if he thinks the public will agree with The Royal College of Nursing that it is a insult.

In what could be a comedy sketch, Piers Morgan (a privileged white man) tells Kristen Meinzer (a woman of colour) that a headline about Meghan Markle entitled "Straight Outta Compton" in the famously racist Daily Mail - "wasn't racist".

Welcome to Britain in 2021.

To further underline how completely unaware he is of his privilege and his obsession with his own importance, Piers tried to read Susanna Reid's autocue before the interview had even begun.

After six painful minutes of Piers Morgan bombarding him with the same question "Will you say sorry?" Education Secretary Gavin Williamson finally crumbled and said he and the Government deeply regretted Matt Hancock breaking the law over PPE contracts.

Considering they want the public to comply with coronavirus laws and have made threats of 10 year jail sentences if we don't, Piers couldn't understand what had taken them so long to apologise for their actions.

To rub it in further Piers and Susanna ended the show with Sir Elton John's "sorry seems to be the hardet word".

Health Secretary Matt Hancock was brazen and unapologetic for breaking the law over PPE contracts when appearing on Good Morning Britain. Bizarrely he demanded that we should be thanking him and his team for wasting billions of pounds of public funds on PPE.

An incensed Piers Morgan did what Andrew Marr failed to do on Sunday and ferociously tore into the Health Secretary, asking him if he thinks 130,000 deaths and a shortage of PPE for NHS staff is something we should be thanking him for?

Piers also quite rightly wanted to know why a contract for 30 million pounds was handed to Hancock's pub landlord despite him having no history of ever supplying PPE.

Yesterday was an awful day for centrism. Keir Starmer found out exactly what the voters he has been trying to woo thought of his leadership when ITV News showed him the public reaction to his much advertised speech.

The verdict was weak and incompetent leadership and that he is not the strong leader he claimed he would be and it is failing to get voters on side.

Meanwhile James O'Brien had a complete meltdown on LBC, angrily and nastily attacking a polite caller who dared to suggest exactly the same things about Starmer the public on ITV did.

When people like Starmer and O'Brien are so out of touch with ordinary people, is it any surprise that they can't connect with voters?

"One of the legacies people would like from Captain Sir Tom is that it doesn't take a 99 year old man to have to step up and raise that kind of money for the NHS"

Piers Morgan asks Health secretary Matt Hancock on Good Morning Britain if the Government will ever fund the NHS properly? Hancock replies that they will and that way we can be prepared for future pandemics. However Piers is quick to remind him that he said on January 23rd that the UK was prepared to deal with this pandemic and the 100,000+ death toll clearly shows we weren't.

Susanna and Piers also ask why the English Government always talks about measures like quarantining people in hotels and closing borders but never acts on them until it is far too late.
