What are your emotions telling you?👇🏼
Emotions are like signals. They send a message to your body and then your body processes the emotions to determine what is happening. This is called the mind-body connection.
Conquering the mind-body connection involves cultivating awareness and mastering how your thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations are interconnected.
There are lots of things you can do to improve the mind-body connection including practicing meditation/mindfulness/breathing, cultivating positive thinking, engaging in better sleep habits and regular exercise, healthy eating habits, and spiritual awareness.
Learning to achieve a more balanced mind-body connection can enhance well-being, reduce stress, and improve overall mental and physical health. Major win! 💗

Let’s talk about… OVERTHINKING ⬇️ Do you worry about what may happen next? Does your mind race with thoughts of “what if?” Overthinking happens when we give fear control. The best way to combat overthinking is to: 1️⃣ Step away. Take 15-minutes to distance yourself and distract yourself from whatever is going on. The problem will still be there when you return. 2️⃣ Breathe. It’s important to calm your nervous system down so that you’re not making decisions from fight or flight mode. 3️⃣ Don’t react from a place of emotion. Take space so that you don’t react and rather act on a solution. 4️⃣ Remind yourself that your thoughts are not facts. When you overthink, your brain likes to think that it knows what’s going to happen next. It doesn’t. The goal is to create boundaries with your thoughts so that you can make decisions based on evidence not feelings. 💙 #bethechange #mindsetmatters #thebehappyproject
