New channels Sky Showcase and Sky Max to replace Sky One.

From 1 September, Sky will stop transmission of Sky One and replace it with new flagship brand Sky Showcase, as well as launching a further new service, Sky Max, live and on demand.
Sky Max

Sky Max will be a live channel and on demand service, as well as the new home for Sky’s incredible entertainment. This will include some of your Sky favorite box sets, series and documentaries.

Sky Showcase

Sky Showcase is a live channel that will provide a selection of the best shows from across Sky’s range of entertainment brands, replacing Sky One at 106 on the program guide.

Do I need to pay extra to watch these new channels, Sky Showcase and Sky Max?
No. The channels will be available to you at no extra charge, providing you already subscribe to Sky's basic package the Entertainment or Signature on Sky HD, Sky Q or Now TV platforms.
NOTE: This applies to legal systems. If you are using an illegal system, eg. IPTV. You will need to wait untill your provider updates their server, which may take a few days.

Has your Amazon firestick stopped working? On screen message displaying that you cannot view content? This is usually easily fixed with a couple of tweaks to your account. And a good quality VPN.

IPTV GLOBAL
BOXES AND INSTALLS.

IPTV or Internet Protocol Television. I started the first service on the island nearly 9 years ago. It was pretty dire back then to be quite frank. And damm expensive, which is the nature of the system. As it requires a significant investment. And at that time fiber optic was almost zero here. Things have changed a lot since then. A good fiber infrastructure for a start. The IPTV technology has come on leaps and bounds. But you should be under no illusion. IPTV is nowhere close to the quality of 4k via satellite. Content wise it is unsurpassed, but it will be some years still before the quality matches satellite. A couple of other points. IPTV was always a bit of a grey area legal wise. And in the last couple of years there has been a major drive from copyright holders to get many of these providers closed down. And they are succeeding. In September 2019 a t least 5 million subscribers lost their service, many never got it back, and there is no refunds on a service that you are accepting is quite possibly not legal. So, you should consider these factors before jumping in.

SKY UK SATELLITE BOXES,CARDS,INSTALLS

I don´t think much explanation required as to what this is. Satellite, while there are certain drawbacks, in particular for certain areas. In general it´s reliability, and picture quality. Combined with ease of use, still is hard to beat. It is also a simple fact, that for commercial premises where Sports may be a major contributing factor. It is by far the best medium for reliable, high quality and legal viewing. Worth mentioning here, as there is often confusion over terminology. Sky freesat while not a "true" term. Is for simplicity a sky box without a subscription.
