Happy Father’s Day
We’ll 750 miles and 14 hours later we made it to the Beach. Yes, we did it again just 8 months after our last trip. We chose to drive through the night (again)to make the most time when the kids were asleep.
We did leave without some major dramas so stay be on the lookout for our next podcast episode where we talk about some of the stresses and how we overcame (and didn’t) them.

Since this is the Spillproof Podcast we thought we should put this to the test. These were on sale at Target for a decent price so we thought we would put it against the ultimate test.... a 3 year old.

For quite some time we have known that our oldest needs to give up his passy. We have talked about it with him but being a hard headed toddler he had no interest.
Daycare had successfully gotten him to give it up at naps. So it was really on us to cut the cord (or passy in this case).
He really likes Pixar Cars and Tayo the Little Bus. So we told him if he gave up the passy he could get a Tayo garage.
So we decided to go cold turkey (with the explanation of what was going on). We told Owen that the passy fairies will come and take the tops off all the passy to use as hats. And if he can make it through the weekend the fairies would bring a surprise.
The first night was VERY rough. But after that it was smooth the next two nights.
After he made it through the weekend a surprise was left at the door and a note. The note said the fairies were happy to the have new hats made from the passys.
Were still working out way through some of the withdrawal from no passys hear and there. But over all we're counting this as a win.
With the new year will come some new things with our podcast. We're currently taking a break in anticipation for some new things.
This year we will be adding more review to our youtube channel. We will be talking a look at some different parenting products to see if they hold up or just wast money.
We will also be working on getting video on our podcasts as well. We have been going back and forth if it was going to be something we wanted to do. So we will see if its something we try and keep doing or just do a few here and there.
There will also we two big trips we hope to take and will be documenting those on our Instagram and Twitter pages.
So heres to 2022! Let plan for a better year. Because we all could use it.
