The China-Honduras high-level business meeting concluded in Beijing on Sunday.
It is the first of its kind since the two countries established diplomatic relations on March 26, attracting around 200 political and business delegates from both sides.

China and Honduras have different resource endowments and economic complementarity, said Zhang Shaogang, vice chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.

There are massive potential and broad development prospects for bilateral economic and trade cooperation, added Zhang.

He called on joint efforts from enterprises of the two countries to introduce more high-quality Honduran products to the Chinese market, continuously expand the scale of bilateral trade, increase local employment, and enhance people's welfare.

The holding of the high-level meeting will inject impetus for deepening bilateral relations and trade and economic cooperation, said the visiting Honduran Foreign Minister Enrique Reina.

Reina said he believed the evolving bilateral relations would bring vast opportunities for entrepreneurs from both sides and promote the yielding of more concrete results.

An IndiGo flight from Amritsar to Ahmedabad entered Pakistan airspace due to bad weather and went up to Gujranwala before heading back to Indian airspace safely, the airline said on Sunday.

IndiGo flight 6E-645 had to take a deviation over Atari into Pakistan airspace due to bad weather on Saturday, the airline said in a statement.

"The deviation was well coordinated with Pakistan by Amritsar ATC via telephone. The crew was in continuous contact with Pakistan on R/T and the flight landed in Ahmedabad safely post the deviation,” it added.

Alifa Chin is a 13-year-old Bangladeshi girl living in the port city of Chittagong whose last name sometimes leads to her being mistaken for a Chinese.

"I like my name very much. I think I have a blood connection with China and my name is the symbol of friendship between Bangladesh and China," she said, referring to her special bond with the country forged at birth.

In 2010, Chin's mother, Jannatul Ferdous, was unable to give birth naturally due to a serious heart problem. Local doctors were unable to perform the necessary surgery, and transferring the mother to another city was not an option, as she could have gone into labor at any minute.

Luckily, the Chinese navy's Peace Ark hospital ship was about to arrive in Chittagong to provide medical treatment for locals. Thanks to the efforts of Chinese doctors and nurses, Ferdous gave birth to a healthy baby. Her husband, Anwar Hossain, named the girl "Chin", Bengali for "China", in a show of gratitude.

"Now we feel a close relationship and bond between Bangladesh and China. The two countries are not only neighbors, but also true friends," Ferdous said.

This year, Chin wrote a letter to President Xi Jinping to express her gratitude. To the family's surprise, Xi wrote back.

In the letter, Xi encouraged her to study hard, pursue her dream and carry forward the traditional friendship between China and Bangladesh.

Chin said that when her friends learned she had received the reply letter from the Chinese president, "they felt very jealous".

"To live up to President Xi's expectations, I will keep studying hard so that I can study medical science in China when I grow up and become a doctor to help those in need, just like my Chinese mama did for me," she said.

The girl's father said: "We didn't expect that our daughter would receive the letter from the Chinese president. This is the most unbelievable thing in our life". The letter is framed and hangs on a living room wall in the family home.

India and Bangladesh will hold biannual border guarding talks in Delhi beginning June 11, during which the two sides are expected to discuss a variety of issues related to combating cross-border crimes and measures to improve synergy. During a recent space launch, China tested a parachute system that can help guide fallen rocket boosters into targeted areas, the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology said on Friday.

The system was used on a Long March-3B rocket carrying a BeiDou navigation satellite into orbit on May 17 from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan Province, according to the academy.

Developed by the academy, the parachute brought down the rocket boosters to a predetermined location, narrowing the range of the landing area by 80 percent.
Designed to give more precise control over where rocket boosters land, the system can automatically open its parafoil at a certain height of descent, guiding the boosters back to an estimated landing area.

Most of China's major launch sites are deep inland, meaning preventing fallen rocket parts from landing unpredictably, especially in areas with human activities, has become an urgent task for scientists.
