Our last camping trip of the season, in Shelbyville, Kentucky, where we met one of Joe's Facebook friends in person for the first time. They have a lot in common, and it was pretty cool to finally meet after sharing a lot of interests on Facebook. I'm sure we'll be getting together again soon! We had tons of fun at our very first Jayco Owners Rally in Shipshewana, Indiana - the place where Jayco RVs are manufactured. Lots of activities, seminars, and entertainment, including Joe's Beatles tribute and a bit of The Gemstones duo! It was an honor to be a part of the entertainment lineup for this great group of Jayco owners. And those Amish hand-rolled pretzels were amazing! We are in Indiana at the Jayco Owners Rally, and had the privilege of performing for our awesome fellow attendees on the first night of the rally. Joe played the first set as a soloist with his Beatles tribute, and the two of us finished the night as The Gemstones. Here’s one from late in the evening. We camped for the first time in West Virginia at beautiful Coopers Rock State Forest. This campground is about 15 minutes from West Virginia University in Morgantown, where our granddaughter, Sierra, is on the WVU Dance Team. UPDATE: We did not feel well enough to drive back today. We are scheduled to leave this campsite on Monday, so we are going to hang out in the RV for a day or two, or three. Pharmacist says we might start feeling better after a couple days on Paxlovid, so we’ll take our chances. Thanks for all your caring comments, love to all. ❤️

Too hot to camp! But we did anyway, at beautiful Maumee Bay State Park in Oregon, Ohio along the Lake Erie shore. Thank goodness for our e-bikes, since it was too hot for any other outdoor activities. Check out our video to see how we managed to enjoy this park despite the heat!
