Nisa and fam

3 kids + a newborn! Nisa came to me when her 3rd child was just 3 months old. We shifted the shoot later in the year so the little one would be more mobile. Then, as she grew older, another baby came along 👶🏻 We finally got everyone together at their new home—while the place is still a bit bare, it was the perfect time to document this family’s new beginning!

Good day at the beach! Got lucky the older boy warmed up to the camera and couldn’t stop posing towards the end haha. Got the car involved too this time as it has been the main driver to the fam’s outings 🤗🚙

Bare feets and shades of green 🍃

Nabilah’s fam was so down to earth like almost literally. They didn’t mind walking bare foot most times, no frills to the sand and sweat and even asked me if I was fine doing it in the rain because they are totally fine w it! I also asked if they needed to play any music or yt videos to interact w the kids but they are good without it. True enough their kids are grounded to physical play.

Happy to see kids brought up being connected more with earth in this day and age 🙂

Been shooting more families lately this year, and it’s been quite an experience. The joys and tantrums during that short amount of time I have with them, especially in a less controlled environment. The span of attention and distraction often goes beyond plans. Still, there’s a unique thrill and satisfaction when I can’t be as directive 🙃

Home shoots are still my fav because they capture the comfort and stories of a family’s space.

ZH came to me requesting for a shoot to document their house moving journey. they’ve spent 10 years in their home and were moving to a bigger place after having their first child. In fact they moved the very next day after our shoot! Glad to be a part of their house moving journey😊
