Definitely digging my new drawing tablet! 6 hours of work tonight, and what I got done would have taken me probably about 16 hours with the pen tool and mouse method I was using. Gonna be knocking commissions out quick now!

I've made enough money from my commissions, that I was able to upgrade to a drawing tablet. I love it! I can work so much faster now that I'm not forced into using just my mouse.

It's an XP Artist 12 for anyone wondering.

This is some of the most intricate lineart I've ever done....it took me 3 days and I still have to get it all cleaned up and prepared for coloring. Really proud of how this one turned out.

I've only got my first card completed, but I have 3 streamers currently commissioning me, and I have been in talks with the site owners about being hired on as a permanent artist for their site! This is very exciting for me, and I'm hoping that the site does well!

Got an exciting new commission that could lead to some exposure and hopefully a stream of new commissioners. I won't be able to share much of the progress until it's actually done, but here are some of the initial sketches I came up with. The final one was approved to move on to the lineart stage!

Can't believe the large gap in between updates lately...I've just had absolutely zero drive to create. Starting to wonder if the fact that I was working with Photoshop when my late husband went into cardiac arrest has anything to do with it. I just haven't had that same drive like I used to. Really struggling to complete this. Got the shading done for the most part. Need to work on highlighting and detailing....and there's an ice effect which I've never done before, so we'll see how that goes.

Before I start on my grief comic, I diverted my attention to first create anime version of garh1993 on Twitch. This is the completed lineart. Been awhile....had the wrong hand petting the cat initially...thumb and everything. A bit outta practice. 😂

I think I've decided what project I'd like to start working on. I want to do a web comic of my personal journey with grief.

I did a quick sketch of a possible opening panel. Didn't have any references, so it's a little rough. The bottom panel is supposed to be a hand grasping a fist, as I had to hold Willis's hands down to prevent him from ripping off the oxygen mask.

Probably get started on this during my next days off from work.

This page has been on hiatus for quite awhile as I have been dealing with the loss of my husband and soulmate. I've been feeling the itch to try and get back into it again, but do not have any concrete plans for continuing yet.

In the meantime, here is a repost of the anime-version of my late husband which I created for our Twitch stream.
