The first season of HBO's The Last of Us wrapped up this week, so we reached out to the two people who actually played the video game the series was adapted from.

Our BS MVPs Chris and Jess may not of been fans of the video games ("borrrrring"), but they definitely had some fun with the fungi of this dystopian alternate reality. Did you play the game, and if so, what did you think of this long-awaited adaptation?

Our in-house horror connoisseur Chris got out to the Scream VI Fan Fest tonight and he found the latest entry in the slasher franchise to be quite satisfying. Keep in mind -- Scream (2022) was one of his least favorite movies of last year. Do you plan to get out to theaters for Scream VI or will you wait for streaming?

Pretty round agreement here: M3GAN was a defective product for the BS Crew. Lots of marketing sizzle and no steak; and we want to send this Kirkland Brand Chucky to the clearance bin. What did everyone else think of M3GAN?

It probably helped that we went into it with rock-bottom expectations, but Knock at the Cabin was a pleasant surprise for the BS Crew. Dave Bautista is definitely the standout in Knock, as he continues to show his amazing acting chops as the nuanced, yet mysterious Leonard (also honorable mention to Rupert Grint and Abby Quinn). Definitely worth the watch if you're looking for a short (1hr 40min) and to the point horror mystery thriller.

With Marvel Fatigue setting in for the BS Crew, we all found Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania to be fairly 'meh.' Miles better than Thor: Love & Thunder, but still left us wanting more. Entertaining visuals and a solid performance from Jonathan Majors were not enough to elevate this latest MCU entry into anything meaningful or memorable. What did you think of Quantumania?

Based on the 1929 book by German author and World War I veteran Erich Remarque, All Quiet on the Western Front returns to its native roots with German director Edward Berger taking the helm of this Netflix film. The story follows an eager young German named Paul, who quickly goes from proud and nationalistic to shell-shocked and horrified after only one night on the front line. This film certainly won't be for everyone, but highly recommend for those passionate for such historical topics.

For the most part, the BS Crew really enjoyed Bullet Train -- except for snobby-ass Chris. We found Bullet Train, which is streaming now on Netflix, to be an exciting and refreshing action movie with lots of twists and turns to keep the audience thoroughly engaged. What did you think of Bullet Train? Did you hate it like Chris or are you in agreement with the rest of the BS Crew?

Billings Space recently turned one year old and I wanted to take some time to celebrate all the folks who have helped get BS to this point.

Soooooo, HUGE thank you to my beautiful wife for all of her support/contributions and for having to constantly watch sh*tty horror movies with me. Thank you to for sticking by my side through thick and thin; this man taught me to love spaghetti westerns and John Carpenter movies. Thank you to for always having a unique and interesting opinion on EVERYTHING! But seriously, BS would not be what it is today without Joe's contributions.

Another thank you shout out to , the SAG member himself -- his show and movie recommendations are always on point...and I would have never seen Licorice Pizza without his help. , you're new to the scene, but early thanks to you, and looking forward to what this next year brings us.

2022 was definitely the Year of Jenna Ortega (Scream & X), capping the year off with Tim Burton's take on the dour daughter of The Addams Family, Wednesday. Ortega nails the creepiness of the titular character and easily claims the mantle from previous Wednesday, Christina Ricci (also in the show). What were your thoughts on this Netflix hit show?

Behind the scenes, there was a lot of discussion regarding She-Hulk and well it left the BS Crew a little polarized. Normally we have across the board agreement on MCU properties, but this has not been the case of late (Looking at you THOR: LOVE & THUNDER and ETERNALS!). Did you love or hate She-Hulk? Or did you just find it to be 'meh'?
