Some U.S. corporations doing business in China have struck a Faustian bargain to enrich themselves while helping the Chinese Communist Party enslave its population at home and threaten the U.S. and our allies around the world. Big Tech firms have transferred sensitive technology to the Chinese military, helped spread CCP propaganda, and developed the innovations that created the Chinese people’s electronic prison.

Until recently, there had been little way of collating or quantifying these egregious acts of support for the world’s most powerful totalitarian state. The Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation — which does invaluable work educating the public about the horrors of Marxist regimes, past and present — has compiled the aid and comfort American businesses rendered to the enemy in its first-ever “Corporate Complicity Scorecard.” This report weights eight corporations — Amazon, Apple, Dell, Facebook, GE, Google, Intel, and Microsoft — and finds them wanting. Of those eight firms, half of them get an F, and another two get a D based on their cooperation with the Chinese government’s oppressive aims.

Some of the corporations in the report appear to be complicit, or at least willfully blind to, the persecution of Uyghur Muslim population in China’s Xinjiang district, where government officials herd more than a million Uyghurs into an open-air gulag. In addition to claims of forced labor, there have been credible allegations that China engages in systematic r**e and torture. Both Dell and GE both maintain offices in Xinjiang, despite “clear business advisories from the US State Department counseling that businesses not operate in or have supply chains dependent upon Xinjiang,” the report says.

Many Uyghurs end up in forced labor, which creates many of the components that go into Big Tech products. Western non-governmental organizations have identified 11 separate companies in Apple’s supply chain as potentially linked to slave labor programs. These companies may also benefit from child labor, the report states:

In 2019, it was reported that Amazon Alexa production facilities managed by Foxconn violated labor regulations concerning young workers. It was suggested at the time that some young workers worked 10 hours a day, six days a week, in violation of labor laws. Foxconn claimed these roles “provid[ed] students…with the opportunity to gain practical work experience.”

Not only is it possible that some U.S. corporations benefit from slave labor, but they also help their Communist slave masters monitor, surveil, and terrorize their own people. The Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation reveals that some of the featured corporations develop technology that the Chinese Communist Party uses to spy on its broader population. Dell runs an artificial intelligence lab in partnership with the state-run Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Automation (CASIA), which creates intelligent perception, biometric monitoring, and voice recognition that enables the CCP’s surveillance.

According to the report, four of these eight companies — Amazon, Dell, GE, and Microsoft — are helping to facilitate China’s creation of so-called “smart cities.” Whole cities, run by artificial intelligence, monitor public spaces around the clock. “Smart cities are a core part of both the CCP’s intrusive domestic surveillance program and that program’s global proliferation,” the report notes. China, in turn, is sharing its surveillance bounty with other anti-democratic and repressive regimes around the globe.

“Chinese companies have been involved in exports of facial recognition tech to regimes in Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, Zimbabwe, and Malaysia,” wrote Justin Sherman and Robert Morgus for the Council on Foreign Relations in 2018.

While some violations exploit the Chinese, others threaten American lives. The report also ranks U.S. corporations’ complicity with Chinese repression based on whether they produce dual-use technology — innovations that also have a military application — or partner with companies tied to the Chinese military.

In this category, Dell has distinguished itself. The president of Dell China once said Dell “is committed to becoming the most trusted partner of Chinese enterprises.” As part of the launch of the “In China, For China” program in 2015, “Dell signed a series of cooperation agreements with Chinese military-tied entities, including China Electronics Corporation, a state-owned conglomerate that the US Department of Defense (DoD) would later identify as tied to the Chinese military, and Tsinghua Tongfang, an information technology company that was placed on the US Department of Commerce’s Entity List in 2021,” the report notes. “No public documentation found by this project suggests that any of these agreements has been terminated.”

Dell also co-authored a report on the “Made In China 2025” program, which the watchdog report explains discussed technologies that “are relevant to China’s military-civil fusion program.”

GE and Amazon’s activities similarly bestow technology on partners who may, in turn, benefit the Chinese military. GE partners with the Harbin Electric Group, a state-owned entity, which works on the development of turbine technologies; Harbin Electric Group, in turn, is part of the Chinese government’s military fusion program through a dedicated department that draws on — wait for it — turbine technology.

GE’s ties to the Chinese military through Harbin and others are “particularly troubling because GE is a major contractor for the US Department of Defense, including in technologies and products similar to those with which it partners with the Chinese military system,” the report states. This double relationship raises the possibility of technology transfers through a company in part subsidized by U.S. tax payers.

Amazon’s ties are somewhat more attenuated but still noteworthy. Amazon collaborated with the Chinese government in setting up the Zhongwei Industrial Park, which houses two other companies (China Mobile and China Unicom) tied to the People’s Liberation Army (PLA).

The report also says corporations have used their clout to advocate for Chinese causes. Dell, it says, openly supports China’s imperialist Belt and Road Initiative. Some of these efforts may impact U.S. law, like when Apple lobbied Congress against certain provisions of the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act. In a stroke of brilliance, U.S. corporations that China allows to do business with its billion-person market now have a vested interest to oppose any U.S. sanctions against the nation for fear of losing this access.

Facebook illustrates the way Western corporations change their tune based on their economic ties to Beijing. Chinese pro-democracy activists took advantage of the platform to coordinate their actions, so the government blocked Facebook in 2009 and Instagram in 2014. After lobbying to get back into the Chinese market, the government gave Facebook a three-month trial period to reenter the Chinese market in 2015 and build offices in the country. This project ended up not materializing.

According to the a report cited by the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation, Facebook had created software which could “suppress posts from news feeds within certain geographic areas.” This would be done “through a third party, likely intended to be a China-based partner.”

Despite its seeming willingness to participate in censorship, the Chinese government denied Facebook its relaunch. After it became clear that the CCP was never going to let it do business in China again, Facebook leadership began criticizing Beijing’s human rights record around 2018.

But China still finds Facebook useful for spreading its propaganda to a Western audience. Last March, Facebook allowed Chinese state media to buy an ad where the mayor of Xinjiang told Facebook users that the “peace and stability that people from all ethnic groups in Xinjiang once longed for has become a reality.” Furthermore, he called any claims of genocide against Uyghur Muslims a Western “plot.” Facebook, too, has a financial incentive to give airtime to the CCP: In 2018, China represented $5 billion in revenue, accounting for approximately 10% of all Facebook sales.

Everyone who loves freedom should be concerned by these developments. This first-ever complicity report renders a valuable service by examining each area of corporate complicity individually. For its final overall grades: Dell, GE, Intel, and Microsoft got an F. Amazon and Apple got a D. Both Google and Facebook got a B.

GE failed both “operations in Xinjiang” and “direct support to military or security state,” the only corporation with a double fail. Dell got a failing mark for its operations in Xinjiang. Intel and Microsoft failed “direct support to military or security state.”

As this author discussed with Lee Smith, who helmed the new documentary series “China The Enemy Within,” for 50 years the U.S. bipartisan foreign policy establishment has claimed that doing business with mainland China would miraculously cause the Chinese Communist Party to embrace the full range of Western, Judeo-Christian thought: capitalism, liberal democracy, and respect for human rights. They argued that the U.S. should preemptively reward their future transformation with Most Favored Nation trade status and membership in the World Trade Organization.

Every corporation that opened offices in China, every factory transplanted from the Midwest to Jiangsu, acted as a missionary of Western values, the theory went. Instead, the CCP has been following former President Deng Xiaoping’s advice: “Hide your strength, bide your time.”

Many in Beijing believe their time has come. The CCP has become more repressive of its Uyghur Muslim, Tibetan Buddhist, and unauthorized Christian communities. It is monitoring its own population to a degree the average American would find incomprehensible. And it is saber-rattling against U.S. allies — often with technology that was Made in America.

At least now we know some of the people who are to blame.

While the world fixates on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, a huge threat is gathering here at home.

As Canada demonstrated, Western governments and tech companies are mobilizing to cut off mainstream citizens from public life and constrain their private lives. Actions like protesting government overreach, expressing “anti-authority” ideologies, or even sharing “disinformation” on social media may now be classified as terrorism.

This is all typical of totalitarian regimes, which aim to bring “all aspects of society under the control of an ideology.” As author Rod Dreher notes, “a totalitarian state … aspires to nothing less than defining and controlling reality.”

>>> It’s Time To Win the War Against Big Tech

We must immediately arrest this momentum toward a social credit system of our own. Otherwise, we risk mirroring China, where the integration of public and private spheres has created the most efficient tech-enabled totalitarianism known to man—all aimed at social control.

In the United States, the increasingly oppressive collaboration between public and private entities is not enforced at the barrel of a gun. It arises from an ideological symbiosis between tech incumbents and government officials. This has allowed governments to successfully encourage tech companies to help police the discourse of ordinary Americans.

For example, White House press secretary Jen Psaki admitted in July that the White House works with Facebook to monitor and police speech and later insisted that other private platforms should be “doing more” of the same.

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas indicated his organization was working with tech companies to strengthen “legitimate use” of private platforms. Twitter reportedly deferred to the California Secretary of State’s office when flagging and scrutinizing questions surrounding the 2020 election and criticism of President Biden.

These tech companies—which control the rails of communication upon which many Americans (and billions around the world) rely—monitor viewpoints to see whether they conform to leftist politicians’ version of reality. If it’s a ruling class narrative, tech companies defend it. If it departs from the “approved” line—e.g., by suggesting the possibility of a coronavirus lab leak, repeating the New York Post story on Hunter Biden’s laptop, or rejecting the existence of biological differences between men and women—it is suppressed.

The ideological collaboration goes far beyond social-media censorship.

The Chinese system of blacklists ultimately limits job advancement, real estate purchases, travel, ability to get a loan and more. In the West, censorship measures have extended to online banking, web hosting and email delivery services.

GoFundMe, buckling to pressure from the Canadian government and Ottawa police, froze millions of dollars meant for the Canadian Freedom Convoy. Other companies—like Airbnb, PayPal, Stripe, MailChimp and GoDaddy—continue to purge accounts to the right of center up and down the digital stack.

Such expansive vulnerability engenders self-censorship. Americans are learning the hard way that they risk their ability to support charities, rent homes, fundraise online, bank and even earn a living should they dissent from the prevailing leftist orthodoxy enforced by the government and private companies working hand-in-glove.

And we are in uncharted territory when one market-dominant company (or multiple companies within a specific market) decides it’s better to go along with the preferences of the government than side with individual citizens. It leaves those individuals with nowhere else to go.

What comes next? We are on the slippery slope to social credit scoring, where “wrong-think” leads to undesirable consequences.

Will your individual Climate Compliance Score be satisfactory? Suppose you use too much heat this winter. Sorry, can’t get a bank loan to buy that new house. Pump too much gas for your family’s road trip? Apologies, no airline tickets for you next summer.

Americans must recognize what is happening and combat it more effectively. If we do not take strong measures to respond to this new and singular problem—which is as much a political, cultural and moral issue as an economic one—then we forfeit our ability to govern ourselves.

Compromise
— OPINION —
The COVID Compromise That Would End The Pandemic
By Houman David Hemmati

As Omicron case counts and deaths have spiked and then plummeted across the United States and the rest of the world, many nations like England and Denmark — which throughout the pandemic have had the most draconian public health mandates — have realized that they have been futile or are simply no longer needed, and have begun to abandon them to restore normality to citizens’ lives.

Despite this, the federal government — most notably members of the Biden administration — still seem intent on travel restrictions, requirements for boosters, and for many schoolchildren, firm mandates for both vaccinations and medical-grade masks. At every school board meeting I attend, I hear hundreds of parents desperately demanding an end to mandates after describing their severe psychological, social, health, and academic impact on their children, while a very small but vocal minority of parents insists on keeping mask, vaccination, distancing, testing and quarantine mandates in place as part of an effort to “stop the spread” of COVID-19. As a doctor, I have been devastated to hear numerous stories of unvaccinated schoolchildren being shunned and ridiculed by their own friends and classmates, who accuse them of being “murderers” and “selfish”.

Nearly two years of COVID has sharply divided our society along new tribal lines: those who want their lives, as well as those of others, to revolve around a “new normal” of avoiding COVID infection at all costs (the “Covidians”) versus those who are ready to accept what, for most, is now a very small risk to go back to their pre-COVID lives. This division has also normalized an unfortunate and immature culture of virtue signaling, shaming, humiliation, censorship, and physical separation, not limited to schools, that has torn apart families, destroyed friendships, and pitted complete strangers against one another based on nothing more than outward expressions of COVID avoidance.

We are not in a civil war, as some have argued, but we are in a civil cold war in which tensions are high and everyone is on edge, waiting to be insulted or attacked by someone who disagrees with their level of COVID anxiety. We cannot continue to function as a civil society unless we reverse this tribalism, end the civil cold war, and live together harmoniously and respectfully. While I favor making most COVID measures optional now that the pandemic has evolved, I respect opposing beliefs and believe that our only alternative to constantly fighting is to peacefully coexist. Many feel this conflict is hopeless, but our challenges are not unprecedented. In 1787, the framers of our Constitution had to resolve a fierce division between smaller states, which wanted equal representation, and larger states that wanted proportional representation. In what is known as the Great Compromise, they decided to do both, giving us the House and Senate.

It is now time for a 2022 version of the Great Compromise. We must acknowledge that there are many who, for their own personal reasons which are not necessarily grounded in science, will always retain a significant fear of infection or death from COVID, however improbable it might be, and accommodate those who are guided by fear and media soundbites (plus those who are legitimately at risk due to age or medical comorbidities) in a manner that respects everyone else’s freedom to enjoy their lives. How can we achieve this? By bringing back the antiquated “smoking section” to every aspect of society that would require maximal COVID precautions, Los Angeles-style, including vaccinations (including all boosters), rapid antigen testing, and a professionally fitted N95 mask worn at all times:

Schools: Designate one classroom per grade level, or one entire K-12 campus per district, that would maintain post-exposure quarantining, daily testing, plexiglass barriers between students, and a ban on group play, sports, or singing — all things that local schools here in Santa Monica have done.

Restaurants: Create a special section, blocked off by plexiglass partition, where eligible customers must wear an N95 mask all times except while the mouth is transiently open to consume food or beverage, but not while chewing or swallowing.

Theaters, Stadiums, Planes, Trains, and Buses: Have partitioned sections for eligible customers and ban any food or drink so that masks are never taken off.

Stores: Establish a designated shopping hour, early in the morning so the air hasn’t been tainted by the unmasked and unvaccinated, for eligible customers to shop fully distanced, among N95-wearing employees.

Once we take these measures, we should finally be able to drop the shaming and humiliation by allowing every person to choose whether to live normally or live as a Covidian whose life is dominated by COVID avoidance. And perhaps, over time, the number of Covidians will shrink or disappear as they see their neighbors living normal, healthy lives, so we can all go back to normal.

Theories About the 'Star of Bethlehem'

As CBN News has reported, while there have been many theories about the identity of the biblical star of Bethlehem that appeared at Christ's birth, a combination of historical research, astronomical insight, and biblical understanding has come together to present a plausible explanation that is both miraculous and understandable.

As Larson points out, this theory finds the planet Jupiter to be part of that star. In the ancient world, all heavenly bodies were considered "stars".

The Magi or the three wise men were, most likely, court advisers to Babylon who used the stars to give guidance to the ruler. Why would God guide astrologers, of all people, to the King of Kings? This example, according to some writers, was Christ's first human ministry to unbelievers.

Who Exactly Were the Magi?

But who were these mysterious wise men? One ancient Jewish writer Philo speaks of them.

Larson, an expert on the biblical Star of Bethlehem, once told CBN News that Philo "describes a particular school of Magi, calls it the Eastern school, and these Magi he praises. He says these guys understood the natural order and are able to explain the natural order to others. And they were, according to Philo, probably what we might call proto-scientists."

Larson explains what the Magi likely saw were five astronomical conjunctions that took place over a span of time from August of 3 BC to June of 2 BC. When one planet passes another and, as seen from earth, they line up – that would have been of great significance to these astrologer-advisers.

Leo, Venus, Jupiter, and Regulus

We now know what these conjunctions meant to these Magi as they would have observed from their far-off land. The conjunctions involved the constellation Leo the Lion, the planet Venus, the planet Jupiter and the star Regulus.

To the Babylonians, the lion represented Israel. Venus was motherhood. Jupiter stood for fatherhood or kingship. And Regulus symbolized royalty.

Put these together in the Babylonian mindset and what do you get? A clear and repeated message that a grand king had been born in Israel.

Larson used computerized astronomical tools to track the convergence of these heavenly signs involving Jupiter, Venus, Leo, and Regulus, back to when they would have occurred.

"Nine months after that first conjunction – nine months – the gestation period of a human. We see Jupiter and Venus come together to form the brightest star anyone had ever seen," Larson said.

That would have been in mid-June of 2 BC – again near Regulus in Leo. Eventually, Larson traces it all to a conclusion on Dec. 25, in 2 BC.

"Of course, they didn't use our calendar – you know December 25th meant nothing to them. They never heard of December, but to us, it could be a sign and it is interesting that the gifting did occur on December 25th," he said.

“Bombshell 🚨
As ordered by the courts the FDA must release the data it based it's EUA for the Pfizer shot.
The FDA requested the courts to keep this information confidential for no oess than 55 YEARS!!
The court returned with an order to release 500 documents a month.
We start with the first release of 30+ pages on AE (adverse events) including death.
How this product wasn't taken off the shelve within the first month is beyond me!
1227 deaths by February reported.
These are pfizer and FDA documents.

Looking at the amount of AE's (adverse events) recorded for the 42,000+ is jaw dropping.
Whats worse, out of the recorded AE (adverse events) about 1:37 is death. That is isane.
The FDA admits these are only recorded AE that are considered above mild. There was so much more that wasn't released.
Please keep in mind these are AE that we're recorded in the first 3 months alone from December 1st to February 28.
By all means and confirmed by Pfizer these are only "recorded AE" and there for it might be a small sample of the true number of AE's that actually
Took place.
270 cases reported as spontaneous abortions! One report was twins.
17 serious cases of breastfeeding babies. [Serious case wasn't detailed]
