It's the scarf on my shirt matching my heel straps... I'm learning to elevate the simple things in my closet so that clothes that I'd normally chill in the house with can take me to a casual production meeting or church or wherever...

I desired to speak in tongues but when I asked a certain group of people they said that it is not for everyone. Lies I tell you. Anyone can speak in tongues if they are baptized by the spirit.

I had to read the scriptures that address the speech of tongues to gain understanding about this thing I desired. I needed to understand why I needed it and so I'm sharing the same with you.

Anyone who knows me knows I live, breathe and see in black and white.
I also take Candid documentary pictures of people in black and white and you can see that .tv.film .

This is not to mean I can't photograph in colour but sometimes colour becomes noise in a frame that is trying to tell a story and convey emotion. I am a storyteller. And I do that through films and photography.

A very good friend just reminded me that the enemy will always cause you to be discouraged and unmotivated when your break through is close so you can stop pushing and pursuing God.

When you know who is fighting you and your destiny you stop focusing on the fight and start asking why they are fighting you. The why is your victory. Claim it and praise God for it. Praising God in the fight makes you victorious because the battle is not yours but the Lord's. We are conquers in Christ Jesus.

Today I praise God for everything He has called me to be. This is my Victory. I am because He is.

Honestly, how many of you have been able to effortlessly do this? Raise your hand in the comment section. The operative word is EFFORTLESSLY.

I have not. It's not been effortless for me but I have been trying. Trying so hard to do something that when I was younger came so effortless to me. There are things we go through life that change how we see the world and sometimes even changed who we are as people, for the good and bad.

Being selfless is something I lost and I'm trying to get back into it again. I am doing my best not to think of myself and what I will gain, rather, how I will serve the people around me and give them grace as I extend the same to myself.
It's not easy but it's doable. Thank God for my teacher, the Holy Spirit. I'm unlearning and learning. Slow but sure. Who's with me?

My grandmother, Mkakisha the first, the one I am named after. I have never seen her so happy. She danced so much throughout my stay in taita leading up to this day that her waist was in pain by the end of the day 😁.

She calls me "my love". A name she has extended to my man .muchine I thank God for keeping her alive and healthy to witness our coming together. Help me pray for more health and life over her because she desires to see her great grand children from us.

I thank God for helping me honour her and my parents. I know I made so proud because she said it over and over again😜. I couldn't have done it if I didn't have a relationship with Jesus though. God has helped me walk this journey gracefully and respectfully. My partner .muchine has also been very supportive, very disciplined and very true to our journey's values morals and Christian standards.

I am blessed to have you .muchine God almighty really knows me and gave me the best.

Isaiah 55 has set the mood for me. Especially the first three verses.
“Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and you will delight in the richest of fare. Still meditating on this as I try to understand what God is really saying to me. I have an idea, but I want a revelation. Holy spirit teach me.

Have you ever been at a place where everyone is hearing God about your life and you have no clue what is going on? Yeah, me too.

It is in this moments that I ask God to confirm these things. "Yes I believe that you have sent your people, prophets to speak to me concerning your will for me and to even rebuke me and correct me. But I want to hear it from you Lord".

When it comes to correction and rebuke I don't really need a second hearing, I just need to look within myself and ask the Holy spirit to search my heart and lewd me to repentance. But prophecies on my identity, future and purpose i for sure need a second hearing. It may not be to me directly but God may use someone else to repeat that same prophecy, or lead me to a sermon or scripture that speaks the same over my life. Or a song or a banner.

Thing is, God is always speaking, are you listening?

The devil is an imitator - The father of lies

It is so sad that when a miracle happens, the first thing the world things of is that the powers of darkness are in play.

Our God almighty is the source of miracles through Jesus Christ. The Bible says that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. It continues to say that great things Jesus did but greater are the things that we His brides will do

12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

But this is what the word of God says about the enemy the father of lies

At the core of his character, he is a liar; everything he speaks originates in these lies because he is the father of lies.”

so let not the enemy lie to you when God is moving. Like God moved in the days of the Israelites journey to Canaan, the same way He can still move today.

I'm learning that to be silent is to quite the voice of doubt and fear in me and to be calm is to praise in the storm.

Oh Lord may you fill me to overflow with your peace. May your voice be louder than any other whisper in my heart. May my soul surrender to your voice and submit to its utterences. In Jesus name, Amen.
