Bobby Valentine – Three Minutes From Famous
Three Minutes From Famous was written by Bobby Valentine and Lachlan Bryan from an idea Bobby got from an industry heavyweight at an American songwriting festival in Hawaii.
He was attending a Juke box jury of delegates demos and said ‘expert’ uttered the phrase to encourage a ‘would be’ to keep trying.
Lachlan provided the inspiration and content for the “US tour” verses based on his own American tour experiences.
The song was recorded at Frying Pan Studio in MONA Gallery, Hobart incorporating their iconic REDD 17 console used in Abbey Road Studios, by, amongst others, The Beatles.
The Band comprised members of Bobby’s extended family with special guests, Ashley Naylor and Adrian Scott.
