Been quietly planning in the corner. I have 2 new courses to complete for 2022! One being again finally and officially! 🐍💻 The other starts on Feb 14th and it's a complete secret 🤐🤐

I have been goal setting and planning in silence.
Its been the best thing I have done and I would highly recommend it.

So for the next few months you can watch me code in Python
Discussing all things and
Behind my laptop with a HUGE cup of tea

Just because they have succeeded (maybe you didn't think they deserved it)

A 22 year old young female attempting to build a life for herself does not deserve to be berated and bullied online.

She is 22.
Remember when you were 22.
We didn't get everything right
We didn't always have the correct opinions or say the right things
Most of us were not being filmed on national TV and broadcasted across the internet

Mental health still exists with this young female.
Please do not add to the problem.

In the Northern Hemisphere:

The winter solstice time is no longer celebrated as it once was, with the understanding that this is a period of descent and rest, of going within our homes, within ourselves and taking in all that we have been through, all that has passed in this full year which is coming to a close... like nature and the animal kingdom around us, this time of hibernation is so necessary for our tired limbs, our burdened minds.

Our modern culture teaches avoidance at a max at this time; alcohol, lights, shopping, overworking, over spending, comfort food and consumerism.
..and yet the natural tug to go inwards as nearly all creatures are doing is strong and the weather so bitter that people are left feeling that winter is hard, because for those of us without burning fires and big festive families, it can be lonely and isolating. Whereas in actual fact winter is kind, she points us in her quiet soft way towards our inner self, towards this annual time of peace and reflection, embracing the darkness and forgiving, accepting and loving embracing goodbye the past year.

"Winter takes away the distractions, the buzz, and presents us with the perfect time to rest and withdraw into a womb like love, bringing fire & light to our hearth".
. and then, just around the corner the new year will begin again, and like a seed planted deep in the earth, we will all rise with renewed energy once again to dance in the sunlight

So this is the first job where we’ve shut down for Christmas 🎄 so my out of office will be on from this evening until Jan 4th 🤭🤭

2021 - what a year…

From software dev to cyber security

I put a pin in my business to restart in Jan 2022

I met some amazing people - cut some not so amazing people too

I completed 4 courses

I moved house

I started relearning Python 🐍

I had my first ever tooth extraction (it was a big deal to me!)

I’ve signed to volunteer for voices in exile

I will be volunteering for BHT homeless charity from 2022

I’ve learnt about me, myself and I & I’ve learnt to be proud of her

I’ve learnt people only put you, your ideas and thoughts down because of their own issues

I’ve learnt being ADHD, too loud, too talkative, too chatty, too much… is PERFECTLY FINE for the good ones 🙏🏼

And I’ve learnt for those who call it aggression, abrasive, argumentative, opinionated etc that your wrong 😑

Try passionate, driven, assertive, strong and empowered

2022 I’m bringing everything I’ve learnt, seen and done & making it the best year yet ❤️

Gentle reminder: Christmas isn’t a happy time for everyone
Some really struggle
Some are alone
Some will be isolating and poorly
Some will be in their worst place
Some will be homeless
Some will be grieving

So keep your eyes peeled 👀
Keep your heart open & be vidulant of those often forgotten over the holiday period ❤️🙏🏼

Goodbye Instagram 👋🏼 ✌🏼
Not deleting but not a priority.. my business has really kicked off

And I’ll be spending my time on LinkedIn from now on with my clients and customers

Working in really has kicked this off

I’ve managed to grow my network and business so quickly helping others with their copy, content and LinkedIn

BUT Also gain high success in the world too in business development 🙊

I have to say the last month has flown by and my lack of attention to Instagram has exceeded my growth

Something that has really resonated with me a lot recently is "when you are not being productive, do you feel lazy?"

💛YES! Yes, I do.. I found myself replying!💛

Recently, it's been a bit of a struggle.
I've developed anxiety I never knew I had... I'd always been a confident soul! I never had an issue with people or talking, but recently I threw myself out of my comfort zone.

🕊I started a brand new role
🕊I changed every aspect of my personal business & cut from my services
🕊I PUT MY PERSONAL BUSINESS ON HOLD!
🕊I started WFH full time
🕊I re wrote my life goals & aspirations (BIGGER!!)
🕊I booked my driving lessons in (Finally)

BUT... as positive as that all is, I looked down at my list & felt a sudden drop in my stomach...
Putting my business on hold was a tough one (it felt like I was going backwards), starting a new role lead to self doubt & I realised and I - we were never going to be friends 👿
Then the questions start coming.

💣Have I been working a business to start again?
💣Did my dreams just fail?
💣What if I don't end up as successful as all these other professionals on LinkedIn?
💣Am I living out a delusional pipe dream that I need a reality check on?

I NEEDED to stop and take a step back 👇🏻 but then I started to feel lazy! I started to look at everyone online thinking I should be doing this and I should be doing that. All this break is doing is making me fall behind! 😱

AND.. all this is normal! Being out your is scary 🦋 It can be overwhelming. This can then lead to & all your becoming very very real!

After festivals & summer antics ✨

Getting back to the grind can be hard (especially for those running a business or two 🤪 & working full time!)

Sometimes your time can be spread too thin & it’s just becomes over whelming!

Today I picked 2 things to do to stop over whelm and I did no more!
I focused on
⚙️ Finding and creating some banging content
⚙️ Speaking with as many people on LinkedIn as I could through DMs, posts and comments!

Then I signed up to volunteer for &

I had a fun Friday
I spoke to over 15 people from all walks of life about them and their passion
I learnt some new stuff about content
I worked my butt off but
I also put time into my passions
It felt productive 💎
