SBRL is excited to announce the Gauntlet Series for Spring 2022! The Gauntlet Series is a new racing series that pits drivers against each other in all iRacing disciplines to see who has the best all-around driver skill! The series will run on Wednesday nights, with the first race scheduled for next Wednesday, April 13th!

Points will be tracked and a Gauntlet Series champion will be crowned at the end of the ten-race schedule! However, drivers can feel free to race all ten events or pick-and-choose races that they find interesting. One drop week will be calculated into the final standings. The races will be free to enter; that being said, any drivers wanting to be part of the prize pool at the end of the season can do so by making a donation to the league.

Registration for the series will not be necessary; each week's race will be posted in the original Shake 'n Bake Racing league in iRacing (iRacing League ID #3476). If you're not already part of this league and want to race in the series, use the Discord link at the bottom of this message to join our league Discord and request an invite! Races will have limited spots available; be sure to join the session early to lock in your spot! Sessions will open at 8 PM ET on Wednesday nights.

What does this mean for SBRL's other regular series? In the Spring 2022 season (from April to June), SBRL will be offering the previously-announced Elite Euro Road Series on Monday nights and the Gauntlet Series on Wednesday nights, in addition to the SBRL ButtKicker Cup Series on Sundays. The SBRL Street Stock Series will return in July for the next league season. Once the SBRL Super Late Model Series finishes its current season on Thursday, April 21st, it will also return in July for the next league season.

We are excited to bring some new disciplines to SBRL for the first time this season with the Gauntlet Series!
