It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Rebel Chef Pete mother's peaceful passing just before 8am this morning. Surrounded by her loving family, she found comfort in their presence during her final moments. May she rest in eternal peace. Pete, his father, and their family remain in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Respecting their wishes, the family kindly requests that the wake be kept to just friends and family members.

It brings us great sorrow as Rebel Chef Pete mom is succumbing to her cancer. Pete's mom has been battling cancer for over a year now and was in remission in March. The last few weeks, the cancer had come back hard, spreading into her lower back and now it had spread into her fatty tissues, muscles and vital organs. She will be greatly missed as she goes into God's arms and be finally at peace. Pete and his father, as well as his family, are in all of our hearts and prayers during this difficult time.

EU Farmers Protest Update:

Farmers have blocked the streets in Brussels as the protests spreads across the EU. ~France 24

The French government is now preparing to take measures in taking in their Farmers concerns. ~The Gaurdian

As of about 8hrs ago, Farmersin France, Italy and Belgium have expanded their blockades to disrupt the trade in the EU. ~Euronews

Farmers are stepping up protests against rising costs and green ruled. ~Reuters

Update on EU Farmers Protest:

British Farmers from Great Britain maybe joining the protest with the French, Belgium and German Farmers. Malcolm Prior, a BBC News Rural Affairs Producer, states that "there's no shortage of anger and frustration."

Meanwhile, the Get Fair About Farming has told BBC News that the Agriculture in Great Britain is "on its knees."
