The Hyottoko has such an interesting story being it and I highly encourage you to go learn more about the boy with the magic bellybutton (I know strange huh?) This board follows on from the Oni Design and brings that connection of East and West.

Hand painted Ono skateboard design for a project focused around Japanese Folklore stories.
I’ve recently been completely absorbed in Japanese culture and just anything Japan! I took time to focus on a project where I would make a collection of skateboards. I wanted to blend the Eastern Culture with a western element. I had so much fun designing this collection and started on one of my favourites, the Oni!
