Fatherhood comes first my man!

Hey Iowa golfers!

I didn't forget about you. Some priorities have shifted this year due to the arrival of a little one (she's the best!)

No, I didn't get the Fore Iowa gear out for last season, and no, we have not yet updated the 2025 Iowa Golf Calendar. But, the 2025 schedule will be front of mind at some point (at least in a limited fashion) before the season starts.

The tournament finder had a lot of great feedback last year. But right now, I want to focus on re-imagining the website and make it work better, and faster, and involve less Dev hoops to jump through to make stuff happen. This means incorporating AI in some fashion, and operating on a different CMS than wordpress. If anyone has any connections to awesome developers who love golf, let me know!

While I brainstorm through this, keep following Iowa golf brands like Minnow Golf Tour, A Good Miss- Beyond the Green, and Tulip City Golf Company ⛳️

Were you one of those kids that got dropped off at the course early in the morning and picked up when the street lights came on?

Was there someone at the course that you specifically remember that had an unknowing impact on you?

I’m super excited to have Pete Starks on our show next week. Pete was an employee at the course I lived at growing up and was that guy to a lot of us Muni Kids who played at Shary.
