Let's start with 2023 games we're looking forward to.

As of now my game pickups for the first half of the year look like:
January- Monster Hunter Rise, Forspoken
February- Theatrhythm Final Bar Line, Destiny 2 Lightfall
March- Resident Evil 4
April- Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores
May- ?
June- Final Fantasy XVI

This is only going off of games that have official release dates right now. There are other games coming out sometime this year that don't have a release date I plan on getting (Sea of Stars, Starfield, Forza, The Wolf Among Us 2, Final Fantasy Rebirth, Tekken 8, Spider-Man 2).

What games are everybody else looking forward to this year?

Playlist I made since there will be no E3 this year, and possibly ever again. Wanted to focus on the show floor experience, press conference announcements, discussion of announcements at said press conferences and just have a time capsule in video form of sorts of what E3 was.

Lots of nostalgia watching all these old game and hardware announcements. It was also interesting watching and listening to people react through the eras and getting a sense of who had the best showing just going from what people had to say about their press conferences.

Hoping this turns out well. The wait for a game in the same style as rogue squadron has been forever. Not sure if you get to play as the empire outside the multiplayer, that would be a change I'd enjoy seeing the conflict from both sides.

What is everybody playing this weekend? Anybody been able to play games at length for the first time in a long time as they've been sheltering in place?

Finished the Witcher and moved onto Witcher 2, enjoying it after not being able to get around to it for a long time. Watching the Netflix series has influenced my choices though, I'm more likely to side with humans since it was made to seem like conflict with non-humans is inevitable and unsolvable.

What is everybody playing this weekend? Anybody been able to play games at length for the first time in a long time as they've been sheltering in place, social-distancing and self-quarantining?

Haven't gotten all the stuff from the Olympic event in Destiny so I'm trying to get that done by Wednesday. After that I'll just be focusing on finally playing through the Witcher trilogy.

Have been doing the daily limited bounties in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne during Full Bloom Fest after missing a few at the beginning of the event. Got the Arch Tempered Namielle armor and am ready for Alatreon whenever it gets a new release date.

I got the platinum trophy in Final Fantasy VII Remake, so now the long wait begins for the next installment. The next game I was going to jump into was Last Of Us Part II but it's been delayed indefinitely so I'll probably finally start making my way through the Witcher trilogy.

Besides that Destiny 2 has an Olympic themed event going on and the Full Bloom Fest is going on in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne so I've been checking those out.

Finished FFVII Remake and loved it. Currently making my way through the game for the third time in hard mode. Not sure what I'll move onto since Last of Us Part II got delayed. I'm thinking I'll probably finally play through the Witcher trilogy.

I'm playing through Final Fantasy VII Remake. For the most part I like how it's been modernized, seeing how they've changed the scenario and have spared no expense going into so much detail for everything in Midgar alone has me looking forward to getting through the game to see just how much is in it.

What is everybody playing this weekend? Anybody social-distancing or self-quarantining and been able to play games at length for the first time in a long time?

Been making my way through Final Fantasy VII for the first time in a long time and loving it as much as ever, really looking forward to playing the remake when it gets here Friday.

I also just finished Resident Evil 3 and enjoyed it. There are omissions and changes that are more noticeable than in Resident Evil 2's remake but it's still a good game. It's also more accessible for getting S rank and overpowered fun items so I'm looking forward to doing that.

What is everybody playing this weekend? Anybody social-distancing or self-quarantining and been able to play games at length for the first time in a long time?

Fully leveled the season pass in Destiny 2 so I can just jump in for any new time gated content that drops in that. Finally started Final Fantasy VII and got to Mt. Corel and am enjoying replaying it very much. Also checked out the new monsters in Iceborne, so can go back to waiting for new content in that game.
