The question "why is Nigeria a country where today is better than tomorrow" is not a question one can easily comprehend. Although, before the order used to be "tomorrow will be better than today" but nowadays the order now Changed to "today is better than tomorrow".
Before, by 2017 as I can remember, my transport fare was #70 from Ubakala to Isi gate in Umuahia. At that time, I can remember that my father usually move about anywhere he wants to go with his car. But nowadays he says he prefer mobile transport. I would say that things were going so well at that time even though some complained things were getting worse anyway. My mom at that time normally buys a bag of beans at NGN28000 sometimes at 25000 or even 24000.
2018 was not that bad anyway, things were running smoothly at that year.
Things changed to this way at 2019 badly. We started experiencing such hardship as bad as what we are in today. This say of "tomorrow will be better than today" changed badly to "today is better than tomorrow" at this year. Death and bad economic situation grew worse as days goes by everyday.
Earlier two weeks ago, my mother bought a bag of beans for NGN60000 but this week, while going to market, she had to already put extra money for the bag of beans. And not surprising to her, she was told that the same bag of beans was NGN70000. Of course she had to pay the amount she was asked to. My father no longer take his car around because of the fuel cost and my transport fare is now NGN400. Of course, if my mom is going to market next week, she will have to add an extra money for purchasing a bag of beans.
It's not getting any better and no doubt this litre of fuel sold at NGN600 will soon be NGN1000. PLEASE WILL THIS LOGO CHANGE OR NOT?
