The next episode of Q&AI is certainly out of this world – on an interplanetary scale, starring astrophysicist and global science megastar Neil deGrasse Tyson.
In a world #scoop, it’s the first time the host of StarTalk has been interviewed by #artificialintelligence.
Dr Tyson was intrigued by the Q&AI concept and took #AI for a storytelling test-drive with us. The chat ranged from space exploration and the colonisation of Mars to the perceived threat of AI, the death of the internet and advances in science.
And Pinocchio.
What #jobs will AI put at risk – and what job opportunities will #artificialintelligence create?
This is one of the questions which #ai itself came up with. And it then asked top AI expert Toby Walsh from UNSW for the answer.
Watch their conversation from Q&AI, the chat show where AI chooses the guest, comes up with the questions and hosts the #interview.

Quick Q&AI: Watch what happens when #ChatGPT asks leading #artificialintelligence researcher Toby Walsh #UNSWSydney what the biggest ethical and societal challenges from #AI are – and how we can address them.
Welcome to the world premiere of Q&AI – our interview program where #artificialintelligence chooses the guest, comes up with the questions and hosts the interview.
We asked #chatgpt (or Chat as it wanted to be known) to identify an #AI expert. It picked UNSW's Professor Toby Walsh as its first guest.
We then asked Chat to come up with interview questions and got it to host Q&AI. The first topic of discussion: what artificial intelligence means for the future of humanity.
“I’m much more concerned about not smart AI, but stupid AI,” Professor Walsh tells Chat in their interview.
Awkward.
