Our Thoughts on Tenet, Nolan's newest but most confusing film.
The film was stuffed with information, if you didn't pay attention for brief moment or two during exposition, you'll get even more lost than you already were. This film was more a test of what he could do, I feel. The sound mixing was the worst part for me, if someone is dropping exposition, I would at least like to be able to hear what they are saying over the booming soundtrack or just noise in the background, no point even writing dialogue if you're gonna have the other sound so loud. I did enjoy the film although enjoyed it much more after a second viewing, definitely one of Nolans lesser films, which I can forgive for the film we got three years prior, 'Dunkirk' which was itself a masterpiece with slightly less character development than this film, although that film was more focused on giving you an adrenaline rush and presenting a banding of groups of people trying their best to save or get themselves off the beach and back England. While Tenet was a good film, not quite great, I personally enjoyed it, for any Nolan fan you most likely will enjoy it, otherwise its hit or miss for the general audience.
