Should the NRL go back to a draw for an even game like the old days. This game was in 1996 between North Sydney and Cronulla at North Sydney Oval.

Jason Taylor kicked an early field goal for the Bears to lead 15-8. The Sharks came back to 15-14 before a Mitch Healey field goal leveled the scores right on fulltime.

It had in my opinion just as much excitement as a golden point game where we all know usually what happens is the game is won by a field goal anyway. It’s good when your side wins tough when your side is on the losing side.

Should we go back to one point each for the teams as it might make it interesting come the end of the year with the ladder.

Due to the fulltime professionalism of rugby league these days we won’t see players having jobs as such like Brad Fittler in 1990 when at Penrith.

What about we bring back the occupation but in a way the players can make more more money through sponsorship have it as instead of occupation have it as ambassador for such and such. That way players could secure more sponsorship dollars or even if they wanted to but not many like to promote their off field charity work. It might be a way for more charities to get exposure.

What are your thoughts?

For the ex players on here who did have jobs whilst playing what was your occupation whilst playing?
