Caught this bass on Lake Hartwell Saturday afternoon jigging a shaky head in 90 ft of water and the boat going 3 miles an hour. Glad there was witnesses 😂😂😂

Fished the Upstate Kayak Anglers of SC Lake Cooley event on Sunday! Caught two to finish in 7th place out of 22 anglers! Had a third one on that I lost but that's just how it goes sometimes! Gonna keep working to improve myself as an angler! Also sitting in 6th place for AOY currently! Look forward to the next event!

Always nice to go down to the lower part of the state and get on some fish! Thank you to my boy Dalton and his family for being generous enough to let me join their vacation for a few days! Got on 2 good ones plus a few decent ones, plus plenty of d***s that I didn't photograph! I'll do a tackle breakdown later this week! Tight lines everyone! Can't wait for the next adventure!

Finished 12th out of 26 in the Upstate Kayak Anglers of SC tournament today! 2 fish for 29 inches! Including this solid fish! First tournament catching more than one fish! Slowly getting better and improving with every outing! Looking forward to the next one! Tight lines!

A d**k is better than a skunk 10/10 times! UKA Saluda Lake (SUNDAY EVENT) this Sunday then going to get on em for a few days with my boy Dalton! Lots of content to come!

Went out in the yak to Saluda Lake this morning! Caught one and lost one right next to the kayak, but sometimes that's just the way it goes. Looking forward to the tournament there in two weeks! ALSO I have purchased an action camera! So as soon as I get a chest mount or a way to safely rig it, I will be sharing on the water footage! Hopefully in the next couple of weeks! Stay tuned and tight lines!

Got to get out this afternoon, in the kayak on Lake Robinson, only caught one, but that's better than none! Sorry for the lack of content lately, I'll be back regularly! Tight lines and remember to wear your PFDs!

Not the result wanted Sunday with no fish at Blalock, just take it as a learning experience and do better the next time, as a beginner angler you just have to take the growing pains and grow from them. Time and learning will eventually pay off just got to keep my head down and focus. Congrats to all the people who placed at the Upstate Kayak Anglers of SC tournament!

Getting closer and closer to spring! It's was a little chilly but no cold! Can't wait for that GOOD topwater bite! Also the Upstate Kayak Anglers of SC jersey performed well! I may just have a new favorite fishing shirt! PFD was only taken off for photo!

It was a cold and rainy day on the water today for the first tournament of the year! Still had a great time given circumstances! Didn't get skunked which is my goal for each time I go out, looking forward to the next one! Also shout-out to Prosser Baits for the nice arky jig in the black and blue used to catch my one fish for the day!

2022 RECAP:
2022 was a great year for me fishing wise! I started Chevy Barfield Outdoors and I thank all of you for your support, it is very appreciated! I got a kayak which was a first and fished my first ever tournament with Upstate Kayak Anglers of SC ! I also flipped my kayak in that first tournament and lost some gear but still an awesome experience. I look forward to fishing the 2023 season with them! I got to work with some awesome brands for giveaways and promotions, Big Bass Brand , Ninja.Rants.Jigs , Upstate Kayak Anglers, V**e King Discount V**e Store , and Prosser Baits (who also gave me my own signature color!). And I got to meet the legend Bill Dance at the 2022 Bassmaster Classic. As a beginner amateur angler, I learned plenty of new knowledge and look forward to seeing what 2023 brings! Thanks again for all your support and I look forward to seeing where my fishing goes this year!
