Episode 111 is out now and it highlights co-host Dane Clark’s latest full length album “Gurus, Hitmen & Heaven”.

The new album is the latest from Dane Clark and the Backroom Boys and first since 2022’s “Memory Mile”. A music video was recently released for the album’s first single “Hard Times in the USA” and the artwork was done by co-host Hugh Syme. Dane and band recently celebrated with a sold out record release show in Indianapolis. The new album drops on Feb. 7th.

Skunk is an American guitarist, known for his time in the rock bands Steely Dan and The Doobie Brothers during the 1970s and Spirit in the 1980s. His resume is a who’s who of Rock history. Also....more recently, he has worked as a defense consultant and advised U.S. members of Congress on missile defense.

🤘🪰🎙️ Music Buzzz Podcast launched in 2021 and has featured over 100 episodes of candid discussions with those who are and have been a fly on the wall in the music business including industry veterans representing the segments of Musician, Design and Live.

The Season 5 launch of Music Buzzz Podcast will roll out on Friday, Jan. 3, 2025 and feature American rock guitarist and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Jeff “Skunk” Baxter best known for his contributions as a member of both Steely Dan and The Doobie Brothers. Season 5 episodes will include another wide range of artists and stories including the aforementioned Jeff “Skunk” Baxter as well as guitarist Earl Slick of David Bowie and John Lennon fame, rocker and lead singer Jay Buchanan of Rival Sons, Gord Sinclair of legendary Canadian rock band The Tragically Hip, folk legend Jesse Colin Young and many more. There will also be a special episode released on January 31st with special co-host Dave Lindquist where we highlight host Dane Clark’s latest album “Gurus, Hitmen and Heaven”. Additional 2025 guests will continue to be announced.

The podcast is released on a bi-weekly basis and can be heard on various platforms including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Audible, iHeart, at MusicBuzzzPodcast.com and is also a part of the Pantheon Network - Podcasts for Music Lovers.

Our latest guest for episode 99 is Musician, Producer and Band Leader Leslie Mandoki.

Mandoki is a German-Hungarian musician who became known as a member of the music group Dschinghis Khan. He continued his career as a solo artist and became a music producer who worked with many internationally famous artists including Phil Collins, Lionel Richie and more.

More than three decades after its inception, the Mandoki Soulmates band has not only set breakthrough musical standards with their new album “A Memory Of Our Future”. The Soulmates have created a work of musical diversity that ranges from prog to jazz rock and consists of an inter-generational supergroup of rock and fusion grandmasters with Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull), Mike Stern, Al di Meola, Randy Brecker, Till Brönner, Bill Evans, John Helliwell (Supertramp), Cory Henry, Richard Bona, Steve Bailey, Simon Phillips (Toto), Leslie Mandoki, Tony Carey (Rainbow), Nick van Eede (Cutting Crew), Jesse Siebenberg and Mark Hart (both Supertramp).
