For me, it’s clearing my mind by heading up to the mountain and skiing. It offers a great way to exercise, relax, and practice skills.

Ensure that you are doing things that bring you joy, happiness, and content in life.

Hey guys, its JT!

Its been a little while since I have reintroduced myself, and I have gained a few new followers so hello all! Welcome to the first episode of JT's Corner. This is going to be an Instagram TV series that helps motivate you and get you through your week.

These short episodes will help you see life through my expeirence and my eyes. In addition, it will hopefully allow for you all to feel comfortable enough to reach out and bring inspiration to future episodes.

It is my first time doing something like this on my page, and I would love some feedback and critiques. In my opinion, I will learn from my mistakes and will take more and more each episode.

Today we sit in Yosemite National Park preparing our first season for release. When we decided to create Nomadic by Nature, we had our hopes up to inspire others to travel like we do. 🏔

We started out in the same situation of desiring to travel, but not knowing where to turn. Going into work everyday, and working forty hours a week did not seem to fit our travel agenda. We wanted to enjoy our lives, and experience life beyond a cubicle.✈️

So, we went straight to the source and began interviewing like minded individuals. These individuals have traveled all over the world, and created a way to do what they love.

This may be the beginning of our adventure, but we are so excited to have you here with us. 🌎

Mt. Hood - Mt. Hood, Oregon

Mt. Hood is the tallest standing mountain in the state of Oregon. Sitting at 11,239 feet above sea level, Hood is a dormant volcano. 🌋

For ski lovers 🎿 , Timberline Lodge is the only ski area in North America to have a year-round season. Yes, there was snow on the mountain in July!
•
For our Rizzo fans, he enjoyed every second of the hike. We took the trails near the Timberline Lodge, and hiked up to the snowy area. Rizzo got to enjoy the snow, and got a mouth full or two. 🐶

Avenue of the Giants- Humboldt Redwoods State Park

Thank goodness for Laura and James Mahan. Without them standing up to logging back in 1924, the forest you see today would have been destroyed.
•
Today, Humboldt Redwoods State Park is known for the biggest accumulation of biomass (living and dead organic material) ever recorded in.
•
Also I’d like for you to meet Rizzo! He is our beautiful son, and the inspiration for our logo. We adopted Rizzo about 3 years ago, and this Carolina dog changed our lives.
•
On every adventure we take, we take this guy along. Rizzo just loves coming on all adventures, no matter the distance. Whether that is hikes, road trips, camping, as well as just enjoying the great outdoors.

Rizzo inspires us everyday, to take in every smell and sight of the great outdoors.

Cathedral Rock- Sedona, Arizona 🏜

Fun Fact: In Sedona, it is the only place you can find twisting Juniper Trees. This effect is believed to be caused by the vortexes and energy throughout the city.

Sedona is known for their many vortexes around their red rock city. These forces of energy can make you feel energized, enlightened, motivated, and many have used the vortex for healing and meditation.🌀

Hello all, Jordyn and JT here! During these tough times with COVID-19, we decided to make the most of it and begin a podcast called Nomadic by Nature.

Our podcast shares inside information from top travel influencers around the world on how to travel the world, live on a budget, as well as share their personal tips and motivation to get you traveling. Our goal is to educate and give individuals valuable information that will help them expand their horizons and gain experiences around the world!
