HOLLOWEEN DIY: OVER WINTER BRUGMANSIA

Our potted brugmansia will not survive the winter.
It has grown into a 12-foot multi stem beast this year. To think that it started as a single foot-and-a-half sapling in early spring!

It’s Oct 31, and this tree still has healthy blooms on it.
The secret: morning and evening waterings with weak potash solution (1:10 ratio worked for this plant).

Today, I will count my losses and begin the process of over wintering this stalwart. I’ll be propagating all the branches from cuttings.

Here’s hoping I will have an orchard of Angel trumpet plants next year.

I've always had this recipe for sardined bangus. It's easy to make. All one needs is either a pressure cooker or a slow cooker. For today's recipe, I am using the slow cooker. Throw all the ingredients in the cooker, and after 4-5 hours, you get the tastiest Spanish- Style Sardined Bangus at the comfort of your own home.

Sardines in the Philippines is a dish that's widely consumed by each household regardless of economic standing. sometimes sardines (whether fresh or canned), is used as the measure of the economy in the Republic.

For today's video, I am making and sharing another homemade dish that combines my favorite style sardine preparation (Oil based Spanish-Style) and using Milkfish/Bangus, the national fish of the Philippines.
