Our ability to connect to others is not unlimited. Based on research, our brains do tend to create a limit on how many people we can ‘manage’. Psychologist Robin Dunbar known for the ‘Dunbar’s number' theory. It states that:
• we only really maintain five intimate relationships,
• and up to 15 good friends.

If you are wanting to reconnect with an ex or someone from the past, it goes back to intention and integrity (being honest with yourself).
