Minimalist…what’s everyone’s thoughts?

Over the last year I’ve been into minimalism…I love love love the idea of a tiny home or rv on a huge piece of land. I love the idea of less stuff and more experiences.

This Christmas has made me realize how much the holidays have become about “stuff.” Going to the store yesterday to get cold meds and I browsed the clearance Christmas which I use to go over board on for the next year…this year I bought a shirt, leggings and socks for myself that cost under $5 for all 3 items. These are more PJ items so I can wear it year round too! I had no desire to buy anything else though and it felt so good!

I also have to share that instead of buying more “stuff” with any real Christmas money my husband, myself or our kids have received we are putting towards an OMSI trip (kids have never been so this will be super fun especially with STEAM teacher dad) my kids actually liked the idea of going to do something fun vs buying more toys they won’t play with in 6 months!

I’d say this is a mama/minimalism win!! 🥰
