A shout out to U.S. government agency Peace Corps Zambia for its great contributions working throughout Zambia to educate communities on HIV/AIDS through the Grassroot Soccer program!

American Peace Corps Volunteers use soccer to mobilize communities and teach about HIV prevention. The initiative is making a positive impact, fostering HIV education and awareness.

“I like the program and it’s really good. The kids are learning and they talk with their families and friends about what they have learned," said Maureen Kandeeta, a community volunteer in the Mutandalike area in Choma. Maureen worked on the HIV Grassroot Soccer program with a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer, reaching 34 participants in Mutandalike last year.

In 2022, the U.S. invested over $500 million (10 billion kwacha) to combat HIV, tuberculosis, malaria, and vaccine-preventable diseases; improve nutrition, and promote better family planning in Zambia.

These services are free of charge, and anyone interested in studying in the U.S. can visit the American Corner at NIPA. We also provide virtual advising and information sessions. Look out for the dates here on our page.

It was an honor to attend the 14th Mwape Peer Awards held on 9/16/2023 in New YorkCity. Founded by late Mr. James Mwape and his wife Ruth Mwape. These Awards seek to honor unsung heroes doing remarkable deeds in their various communities and excelling in the respective areas of their expertise. The event was graced by his Excellence Zambian Ambassador to the USA Amb Chibamba Kanyama and his Worship Counselor Chairperson Mr Clement Mwila all the way from Milenge Town Council in Zambia, who also received a Leadership Excellence Award for youth Empowerment through sports. We thank the Team for a job well done for this highly organised event and for continuing with Mwape legacy 🙏💕❤️ Primier Media sends congratulations to all nominees and winners🙏❤️

The Nasie Imax Foundation does recognize the challenges faced by lactating mothers, children and women all across the globe, more especially in developing countries where the vulnerable populations lack the necessary basic human needs. We join forces in promoting maternal & pediatric health, promotion of safe s*x practices, family planning and overall community health education. We also support women empowerment through various projects and girls/boys education. In celebration of the Founder's birthday, the team visited Katoba Rural Health Center's Maternity Unit in Chongwe district, Zambia, where they donated baby hampers to babies who were born during this week. The sister in charge thanked the Foundation for the effort and expressed the need to assist in replacing the broken main entrance door to the maternity unit for safety purposes.
