Pick-up van hit the bike, 3 riders died

Angul - 3 people died in a major accident near the village of Santanapur on National Highway No. 55 under Jarapada Police Station of Angol District. A pick-up van coming from the opposite direction collided with a bike coming from the front bearing number OD 19K 5529, killing 3 people on the spot. The pick-up van driver has returned after hitting the bike. 3 bikers died in the accident. The deceased are Sunil Sahu (25), Sipu Pradhan (26) and Manas Behera (27) of nearby Kulei village. While going from Kulei house to Kanjra, the bike collided head-on with a pick-up van in NH. There was tension at the scene after the accident. The Jharpada police arrived on the news and are pacifying the aggrieved people, till now the road blockade continues at the spot, with hundreds of vehicles stuck on both sides of the road.

*Glory Inauguration of Electrification Program at Kedar Gauri Vocational Training Center by MP**

Angul - Kedar Gori Vocational Training Center for the Blind and Padmapad Ashram at Gopinathpur in Angul Block were inaugurated with the electrification work done with MP's funds. Dhenkanal MP Mahesh Sahu was the chief guest and Dinesh Pradhan, Adviser of Panchayatiraj and Drinking Water Department of Odisha Government attended the opening ceremony. On this occasion, a thanksgiving meeting was held at the training center under the chairmanship of Principal Prashant Behera of Kedar Gori Vocational Training Center for the Blind and addressed by MP and Vasudha Advisor. Later, a meeting was held at Padmapada Ashram in the presence of the villagers. Later, a public meeting was organized in Badibahal village under the leadership of Prakash Chandra Bhoi, the former Sarpanch of Kangula Bentpur Panchayat and District Vice President of Biju Yuva Janata Dal. The village president was killed by injection

Angul - It has been alleged that the village president was killed in Ambpal village under Sadar police station of Angul district. The village president, Balakrishna Naik, was sleeping in a chicken farm not far from his house on Saturday night when some miscreants caught Balakrishna and threw an injection and ran away. He ran and said that something had been thrown at him and vomited. After that, he lost consciousness.
The family immediately shifted him to Angul Hospital and then to Cuttack as his condition was critical. He died on the way to Cuttack. After that, his body was brought to Angul Hospital for autopsy. However, while sleeping at the chicken farm, the family found a handwritten anonymous letter. In which the President becomes a martyr for the village. I refused. Before I said Dont behind me . It was a plan on January 25th, it was written that it was filled today. Apart from this, two syringes were also found from that place. So the question has arisen about who and why killed Balkkrishna in such an innovative way. Balakrishna Nayak was the president of the village committee for the last 10 years. Angul, 04/03 - Disastrous law and order protest in the state Last 28:02:2023 , On Tuesday, BJP Yuvamorcha in Odisha province informed earlier that the assembly will be surrounded in law and order protest. Odisha Driver's Association issues 9 demand letters to District Collector

Angul:

Because Odisha government is not listening to any of the demands of the drivers' association, the Odisha drivers' union has taken a decision to stop steering on the 15th march of the odisha state. On the decission of state president ,Angul district treasurer Rajani kant Sahu,odisha motor driver association president Akhyay Kumar Naik, District Secretary Ajay Kumar Sahu and many activists of the district submitted a demand letter to the District Collector. This claim letter has been given to the District Collector with the claim of 9 clauses. On March 15th, the Odisha Drivers Maha Sangha has warned about leaving the steering wheel and protesting on the roads. Similarly, To the district Superintendent Police ,also issued a demand letter.

An old man lost his life yesterday morning in another elephant attack in Bantala forest area of ​​Angul block. An old man went to a nearby field to defecate when an elephant attacked him, killing him on the spot. It is reported that Anlgul Block Basala Panchayat Sunabhuin Sahi Dibakar Sahu went to defecate in the field near his house this morning. When he was returning home after ablution, he fell into Elephants group. He died on the spot after being attacked by an elephant. Odisha CM consoling injured Naba Das ' son in hospital

A picture has surfaced on social media that shows Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik consoling the son of Health Minister Naba Das , who was shot at by a policeman in the Jharsuguda district on Sunday . Tusker kills two in Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal : A tusker killed two persons at Kamaskhyanagar area in the Dhenkanal district on Saturday . The deceased have been identified as Alekha Nayak and Bari Nayak , both are from Khalapal village under the Kamakshyanagar Police limit . Sources said that Alekha was trampled to death near his backyard while he had walked out of his residence . A few min utes after the incident , the pachyderm killed Bari near a village pond . Being informed , forest officials rushed to the spot and managed the jumbo to drive away into the nearest forest , after a tiring operation .
