22/23 was full of breathtaking ballets and the magazines to accompany them. Here’s (nearly) every issue we published during this past season.
We’re so grateful to each of our treasured ballet company partners, our tirelessly excellent En Face team members, and every single audience member who joined us in celebrating beauty and art together.
And this is just the beginning. Follow us as we begin creating for the 23/24 Season - it’s going to be one for the books.
With the 22/23 ballet season drawing to a close the entire En Face Magazine team gathered in sunny Palm Springs to plan for next season and celebrate what we've already accomplished together!
With a week full of presentations from each department, delicious snacks, late-night swims, tram rides, new ballet company partner announcements (shh, no spoilers) photoshoots, and the occasional dance moment of our own, we planned boldly for the future and had a magnificent time while doing so.
Get ready for the 23/24 season everyone - it's going to be one for the books.
We're over the moon that we were able to be a part of making the Dance Theatre of Harlem gala such a magical evening! With wine courtesy of Old Sugar Mill and custom chocolates from Marie Belle Official, and guests such as American Ballet Theatre Principal Dancer Misty Copland, incoming Artistic Director of Dance Theatre of Harlem Robert Garland, and iconic retiring Artistic Director Virginia Johnson, this evening was truly one for all of us to remember. Congratulations Dance Theatre of Harlem!
🌃OUT ON THE TOWN🌃
We love visiting all our partners and celebrating ballet together! Congratulations Indy Ballet on such a wonderful community and performance.

@oregon.ballet.theatre is delighted to announce that acclaimed ballerina and choreographer Danielle Rowe has been named the new artistic director of OBT, “I am thrilled to join the Oregon Ballet Theatre team to cultivate the inquisitive and progressive energy of the company and the Portland community as we work together to thoughtfully re-imagine a more inclusive and exhilarating future for ballet.”
Dani began her career in 2001 with the Australian Ballet where she quickly rose to the rank of principal dancer. After a ten-year career in Australia, she went on to dance with Christopher Wheeldon’s Morphoses and Houston Ballet before joining the world-renowned Nederlands Dans Theater. In 2015 Dani launched her choreographic career and her most recent work MADCAP for @sfballet last month was hailed a “triumph” by San Francisco Chronicle’s Rachel Howard. Her rich career of performing, choreographing, and directing at the highest levels of classical and contemporary dance has cultivated in her a curatorial aesthetic that we know will bring Portland a dazzling mix of innovative and cutting-edge programming.
She will begin her tenure with OBT later this month, but please join us in welcoming her today!
