There are many things to be said about Ron DeSantis' Twitter Spaces announcement that he's running for prez last night, but one thing is for certain: it was a major social media fail.

Lessons: 1. Don't use Twitter Spaces to make a big announcement (or maybe just don't use it), 2. Don't rely on Elon Musk.

That's pretty much it.

TikTok is fighting back against Montana's attempt to ban it. The platform filed suit yesterday, calling the ban "flatly inconsistent with the constitution."

There's no underdog to root for here, but there is definitely constitutional concern. A group of TikTok creators beat the platform to the punch with a suit against MT last week.
